    Looks like an interesting alternative to the break-away indicators. Also knowing your depth is the same every cast unless you change it looks like a real plus. It's hard to imagine that those bobber stops can move smoothly through fly rod guides, but if they were really hanging up you'd be losing fish, so I guess that answers that question. Thanks for sharing this, I'll have to try this rig.

    Have you ever tried fly line backing instead of the amnesia? It is more supple and less susceptible to kinking like the monofilament line.
