Madeleine confirmed and what pissed off Claudia when she said love makes you stupid and picked another one over me comments were about, Louie had falling in love with Armand and therefore, he was not lying. Now obviously, he loved Lestat more, I mean he had been with Lestat decades compared to Armand during this time. Did Armand know if Louie (Louie had denied there relationship and not until Madeleine confirms it) loved him, probably not. And thus, the viewer witnessed the Judas kiss that sealed poor Claudia and Madeleine’s fates.

One of my favorite scenes & idk if you have it was episode 5. The encouraging words Louis said to a young Daniel after being captive & brainwashed. Put those words in a book they meant so much to him.
The first words of the new "Nosferatu" movie trailer, " He's Coming" made me think of Our Beloved Immortals during that lovely evening of fun in season 1. Smiles, laughter, Lestat blindfolded imitating the monster 👾 . 😊😢 Made me smile, made me want to cry 😢
Armand should just lean into being evil, he's much more authentic that way 😂 Oh God, yes, the photo scene!!!😆😆😆 It's so sad that both Claudia and Lestat constantly felt like louis was picking the other over them.... Oh Armand you bastard. Although his assessment that louis love wouldn't last long enough to break with his coven for him was quite accurate 😅
Hmm, Louie was actually laughing at Armand but it shows up in the form of Lestat. Was that nice? 😮 Am with Maya Angelou… her famous quote paraphrasing “believe a person (vampire) when he shows you who he is”. Sirens should have went off for Armand ( I think they did) when he defended his relationship as a couple with Louis and Louis simultaneously denied that it was a relationship.
I'm not anal retentive enough to criticize stupid little details, but this season Lestat's hair was too long. Sam Reid looks very beautiful with it, but vampires can't change their bodies that easily. That was the main issue with Claudia, she couldn't grow and was forced to look like a little girl for the rest of her vampiric life. The ancient blood in Lestat is pretty powerful, but I don't think it's there to grow his hair out.
