- Hey Everyone, a slightly different project to normal! I can see the fascination for Lego Walking Robots! This is my first attempt at a Lego Technic Walker all be it a simulation but I hope to make one that actually walks on its own in the future!
The Lego Treadmill is powered by 4 L motors and I’ll be using it in a project coming soon!
Thank you for watching :)

This amazes me, really like how you got the walking gait to look so good. The chest movement is subtle but makes the whole thing so much more believable. Another great build Gaz 👍
Hey Lee thank you very much! I’m glad you like the chest movement as it was tricky to get right and gear everything the same. Originally it was going to be just a moving sculptor thing but added the treadmill for a bit of fun!
Now it’s my cats turn… but she won’t go near it
Nice maybe you could build a dog for it to walk!
No thank you, yuck, extremely disgusting to even have to see that, there's enough stupid dogs that I have to tolerate in my neighborhood.
@@9_1.1 Nice!! That is probably the longest comment ever, but the Karen had me😅
@ yeah yeah, I've heard your rhetoric by many others hundreds of times, the stereotypical way you explained things.
I hate trained dogs just the same, the only reason I hate dogs is the way humanity puts them above anything and everyone else, how its taboo to not like them but it's perfectly reasonable to hate cats, how hypocritical is that?
Cats aren't even comparable to the idiocy that dogs show and that us humans accept, cats leave you alone, dogs instigate and invade any personal space if that matters any, obviously it doesn't to you or any other dog lovers who don't think about anything more in depth about a dog other than it's "loyalty" or whatever else they do that gets tolerated.
Oh it's completely fine for them to sniff your junk that normal right? Why tolerate something as 'small' as that when literally anything else invades your personal space is a crime or an inconvenience, like a rat in the house for instance.
@@TheNova801 I Anky even going to read that
@Powerfulefteling come at me with logic rather than name calling just cause you can't speak in depth about something you love against someone who can bring up the ugly side of dogs, I dare you to try me that way.
My honest first reaction was, "Wow, that's a really nice render." Supporting it with nylons strings, and it working that well, is impressive. You earned my sub. :)
Reminds me of the old Boston Dynamics PETMAN videos
bro simulated muscles 💪
I got an idea, try to make a walker without without the treadmill that moonwalks like MJ. even if it has four legs.
Haha that would be cool, I love that! I do plan on making a big stable one soon which will hopefully walk! :)
PETMAN, Lego Dynamics.
I gave you the 1,000th thumb up on this vid, amazing job, keep going!
Thats so unique! I really like the way that the road is made😎
Hey there thank you! I’m hoping my cat users it as a treadmill haha. I may make a 3D scrolling assault course for a vehicle to drive on. I think a few others have done similar so not so sure it will happen :)
It’s interesting to see a new form of build on here, but these motion things I always saw as cool. I guess your a man of many skills in Lego!
The walking form is also super lifelike
That’s seriously insane!! By far the most clever design you’ve ever done that is actually incredible, I would not have thought this was even possible! How’s you come up with the design?
Hey Easton I’m glad you like this, I love it too! Weirdly UA-cams recommendation system doesn’t so far lol. But I’m so glad I built it, was a fun project.
I saw a walking man sculptor which was powered by a weight on UA-cam and this guy is quite similar!.. It was a tricky little build.
...do you mean the sculpture from Mark Galt? Mechanical man
@@diamabolo hey yes that’s the one! :)
It looks like Kermit walking LMAO still amazing though
me: *races the bot*
bot: *walks slow*
me: F U L L S P E E D
You definitely got the rotation in the chest correct. Great work!
This is just amazing! Keep up the great work!
Hey thank you so much I appreciate it :)
It Look's like littlebit unstable but I LOVE THIS! Image if this robot can sprint...
Impressive leg movement. Nicely done.
Hey thank you very much, appreciate it :)
That’s so cool. Looks unreal
You can tell by the way he uses his walk he's a Lego man, no time to talk.
Need some Bee Gees in the background.
😂😂
Almost convincing! A small problem would be when the feet sliding back, it's not as smooth as when the feet going forward. Should both are as smooth it would be absolutely perfect!
Nevertheless, great work!
Hey there thank you very much :), yeah the backward movement on the legs was a little jerky like you said. As a sculptor without some of the extra panels I put on it was a bit better.
amazing! love it!!
Hey there thank you very much :)
At 0:26 when you couldn't see the feet it did actually look really convincing
You could now use that template for whatever, like for example if you add a shield on one arm and a sword on the other you have a knight. And as someone else said, making a dog for it to walk, the possibilities are endless!
Hey there! I Hope you’re ok, a recent comment of yours disappeared when I was responding.
I’ve been away so sorry I missed this one!
Yeah the feet ruined things haha, nice idea too! I enjoyed doing this.
I’m still hoping to build the snocat thing soon! Looking forward to a big build again
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines tbh, I had completely forgotten about the snowcat thing, and on my end, I hadn't even realized one of my comments had disappeared so idk what could be up with that.
I couldn't quite get a sense of scale in this video, but I'm assuming it's big enough to count as a big build. Although it's probably safe to say that, you, being such a skilled lego creator, probably have higher standards than me who's assembled a whopping 1 set in my life, and fiddled around a little with some legos.
What a incredible build! What if you try making the man look more realistic with bricks and pieces on the outside, hiding the functions and skeleton?🤔
Benen!! I hope you’re good, nice to see you about still! :) and thank you very much. I wasn’t sure to cover things up or expose it’s mechanics!
I do plan on doing a proper Walker soon :)
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines ok sweet! I'm doing great! What about you? had me worried that you disappeared forever after not making a video for a while.
Great! ...nice movement down to the toe .
I am working on something similar
A good job. 👍👍👍 But. Are you sure he is walking and not skating? 😉
Haha thank you very much! I guess skating is better than levitating like someone else said haha :)
Barley noticed the string but sweet build non the less
Still better than the Tesla bot
Behold! Tesla bot!
Even the treadmill is brilliant! ok Gaz, you know what you have to do next.... unsupported walking machine 👍🍺🇬🇧
Hey Carl! I know I know and I blame you for starting walkers! I built the treadmill to hopefully make a passive walking machine but I’m struggling with it!
Hopefully January time I will start on a Walker, I can see the fascination now.🍺🍺😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines four legs or more will be fine. You do know that there are several interested parties watching your channel!!? some awesome people and inventors in their own right. I look forward to seeing what you can do, I think you have mastered Lego tracks, and a lot of wheeled stuff. If you can put your creativity into a walker and do similar, you might do very well indeed.. 👍🍺🇬🇧
Genius!
Hey there thank you very much, sorry for the late reply :)
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines You're welcome! Stay awesome! :)
Wow, it look like floating.
it is, and they tell you that
I honestly thought it was a program running at first
I wish you had a Patreon, I would donate.
Also, how is that speed of sound lego coming along, btw?
It's amazing, I am a lego lovers too. Please let me know where can you buy the lego parts ?
nice
Cool!
Hey thank you :)
Last commenter genius Absolutely yes we should do that
Hi, nice concept, which software did you use? Bricklink Studio?
Hey there I use brick controller 2 for all my models. I pair it up with a PS4 controller to the smart phone :)
What instead of a robotic human do a robotic dog, like Boston Dynamics' robot dog.
I think this would be a more realistic project than a proper walking robot :)
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines That's what I was thinking. Great to hear you agree👍
1:10 Oh so the strings hold it up?
Yea, what else?
@@ludvig21 I was just saying.
Hey there yes, originally it was just going to be a moving sculptor type thing but I added the treadmill. I’ve never built any kind of Walker before but hopefully soon I can make one which will actually walk :)
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Yea if you are able to make one that moves by its self, than thats gona be cool!
How did you build that?
I thought it is levitating lol
Haha more chance than walking :)
Boston Dynamics
where can i get parts
This looks weird but cool at the same time! This is with a string right?
Watch the video!
Hey thank you! Yes there’s nylon either side of the hips and one line on his head :) You could play a tune on the fishing line as it was so tight :)
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines well it looks so cool!
gear driven automata
Can we get the instructions?
Hey sorry I’ve not got the time for instructions I wish I did.
Why is there fishing line
I don't see His leg taching the ground???
Is it the robot who does all the noise or the Moving floor ? I really wanted to know how much noise the robot alone make... Great video otherwise
Hey thank you very much, it’s the Powered up L motors on the treadmill! They make so much noise!
설명서 를 왜안보여주셧어
Nice trick but this is CGI
nah
I wish I had the skills lol :)
what
Steps does not line up with "ground" and are not even smooth, also everything is hanging on lines. Not even close to a "WALK". It's a cheap magician style with clickbait in title.
Also copied treadmill from another YT channel... GazR, will you ever do something good on your own?
Oh, my God!🫢🫢
I thought it was a rendering.
How did you do it? That's great.👍👍
Hey thank you very much, there’s 3 nylon lines keeping it stable :)
