Congratulations on your new Volvo! If you don't mind me asking, what color did you get? If you like to go above and beyond to truly help me out. Thank you for showing me how to use the rain sensing wipers! I heard some car reviews saying it was standard, but really never looked into the manual as my car didn't have the paper manual included.
Thank you so much! I just got a volvo, and my husband wanted to drive, but he pushed a random button, and the maps dissappear from the drivers screen! I was looking in the manual but could not find. Was so simple😂😂😂❤

You don't have to turn the mirror tilt on/off in settings. If you only want the feature used sometimes you simply tap twice the mirror(s) you want to tilt after you put the car in reverse.
I have two questions. I have a 2025 xc60 ultra. You mention the road signs, I only get a speed limit sign. Is that the only sign it recognizes? I have looked all over, including the online manual for the auto start/stop function. It tells me to go to "my car" in the control center, but mine doesn't have a my car, and there is nothing in controls. It can't be that difficult because the manual says "when you shut off the car, it resorts to the default " where is this control? TIA
I recall seeing speed limit and stop signs during my own test drive. I'm no longer with Mazda Volvo Lincoln, now back with Honda so I no longer have access to their vehicles to further research. Sorry
How can I restore sound to the Google assistant, car controls & audio entertainment system? I some how shut all sound off (turn signals, warning sounds & Spotify.)
I'm no longer with Mazda Volvo; I'm back with Honda. I didn't play around with those two enough to make recommendations where or how to start. I have been sharing some insight and pointer with Dane at Mazda Volvo for UA-cam adventures which you can find him here www.youtube.com/@DrivingwithDane
Hey, i have a problem with driver display. My xc60 was in repair shop for maintenance and they updated the whole system and now my navugation in driver display is all bright (google maps themed) and i can't find a way to change it back to that super clean black theme. Can anyone help please?
I'll keep this up so the community can review. Unfortunately I don't have enough experience or further access to Volvo inventory since I'm back at Honda now. Sorry
I haven't explored too much into the Vovlo vehicle settings menu when I had access to the inventory. But I'm reading this as if the driver's interface screen brightness was lowered. Many models have a scroll wheel or stick (twist) on the left side or behind the steering on the driver's interface. These would be good starting points. If nope, there could be light setup under vehicle settings menu on the touchscreen
The volvo xc90 garage door opener opens the garage without a key and without the car being turned on. That is a huge security risk. Thieves can break into car and then enter the house via the garage. Is there a way to require the key to be in proximity? I don’t want to turn the entire feature off and not sure I could. Thanks for your help.
@@magdalenamartinez2593 It may vary from models and I don't know Volvos as well as I do with my Hondas. Common places to check would be on the driver's door panel or left hand side of the steering wheel. When pushing on the gas door make sure it's on the right side of the gas door just to make sure.
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 yes just figured it out there is a button on the left hand side you have to press first then message on the dash will alert you that the gas tank flap can be pushed to open
You can select lock on the fob or some trim levels have walk away auto lock feature that locks up when you walk away with the fob, no fob left inside the vehicle.
Yo Chris o Crazy , did you know o knew with the KEY one can unlock n lock but hidden feature is if one press few seconds on unlock button then car will be unlock and windows gliding o sliding down and opens roof as well ;) But do tell me of ur crazy idea how to increase charging power more than whats written in manual o it does and dont write you suddenly didnt understood my Question hahahaha its a quiz and lets see if you or anyone elses know about it ?????? and if you got the answer i will Subscribe with 16 for your channel, Bye Bye
I would have to do more research on the Volvos to make sure. This is my second Volvo video and still learning much as I can to create more. I try to read the owner's manual between appointments. Thanks
I just got mine on Halloween, and it's a brilliant SUV. Great video.

For the side mirror tilt, u can activate it manually by pressing the L or R button twice to temporary tilt.
@@urumps9922 I appreciate your sharing this with me. I can't wait to test it out

Glad it was helpful!
Please help with this: when we get home and wanna get out and check the mail, why does the car shut off completely ?
Maybe this may be the same as Honda, I have a video showing a loophole around the Idle engine shutdown.
I wish we could put the station and artist on the driver screen like previously. WOuld like this when using Waze on center screen.
Thanks for watching

Try holding down the oval button beneath the center display for about 20 seconds to reset the whole system. Worked for me in my 2024 XC60!

use the voice command "open settings" then select "Night mode"
Is there anyway to change the screen display to just show the speedometer in the middle instead of the left side only?
My welcome lights are very dark when I open my car door. Is there anyway to make them brighter?

You push on the gas door while the vehicle is unlocked.
