Why did you use sand vs crushed stone? Too much grinding, you’d be better off with a hammer drill around the circle you drew. I’m following what you did although I have a water table I need to pump out before I can push the basin down in. Did (do) you just drill holes in the bottom? Or did you drill the sides too? I cut off the bottom - this is a backup pump - I had a 1950s city drain that needed to be sealed this is just a safety incase it blows.
