Hi Shruthi, you need a screw tap to fix it without any leakage issues. I actually got my tap replaced to a screw tap for this. It is possible to fix this to a normal tap as well using special screws but I didn't find it reliable.
In large fields we need more flow say 200 liter/minute. We need a valve with bigger diameter.
