Hey friends! Here is my May 2024 Bullet Journal Plan with Me video! My theme for may 2024 is ducks :) Just as I mentioned in my previous video. I know, I know, it's another pond. I have to admit; in the video I said it's my third bullet journal pond theme but it's actually the 4th :D I recreated a lily pad theme by Pypah before I started sharing my content online :D
However, I like how this duck bujo theme turned out and I hope you like it too :)

"I added daisies for some reason" made me smile 😄 My kitty Leo "protects" me from the evil light monster every morning. The light reflects off my watch when I'm making coffee and he chases it the whole time 😂

My cat chatters at everything new. I’m sure Henry just thinks the light reflection is something to hunt. I love the kitty clip at the beginning, and seeing the travelers size spreads is inspiring since I’m considering trying one for my next journal!

Aw I love this pond theme, the ducks are really cute! Good luck on your art content, patience is hard 😊 At first I had half the views on my reading journal content and the algorithm "punished" the following videos, but eventually it got balanced.

I followed you because you do both art and bujo! I personally can't pick one niche, I love too many things. It could make it harder for me to grow, but I try to have the mindset of doing it cause it's fun for me, not for the numbers.
Even with that motivation, I do have those feelings of discouragement sometimes, though. I think you are killing it, and I love your artwork! Keep it up 😁

This spread is so cute 😊 I love ducks! 🦆 and I always love seeing and hearing about your cats too 😸 my cat is all grown up but he still takes some time to adjust to the longer days/ daylight savings time each year. I think mostly it’s because he thinks I’ve forgotten to feed him lol.
I’ll watch some of your art videos! I’ve only posted 4 videos myself and can also relate that it’s frustrating to see them flop 😅 I think your art is awesome! ❤ I’m sure the algorithm just hasn’t picked up on the audience for the art videos yet but it will!

I like your art videos but i dont watch them immediately whereas i watch your bujo videos once theyre uploaded. I kind of need to be in a certain mood to watch your art videos, but i always get around to them eventually!

Please don’t give up, I know that everyone has a tough time starting out. I see a lot of content planners who are subscribed to Skill Share (I think its $15) per month. They do courses on how to get your You Tube business going. I am sure you have heard of it. I hate the winter too, I have lived in Africa most of my life and it is really hard going through winter. It does depress our moods and its amazing what a green leaf will do! 😊

i love your art and think your bullet journaling is fine but to be honest. I had JUST found you. Maybe its the algorithm cause ive been watching bujo videos on youtube since it was created and i am just now finding you.
Yes you're probably right and the algorithm doesn't really know who to show my art videos to yet, since I did bullet journaling for such a long time and only a few art videos, and I only started uploading art videos regularly again a few months ago. Hope it will learn what my channel is about anytime soon :D

Ich finde dein Mai Setup ist sehr schön geworden und die Farben harmonieren wunderbar.
Bisher habe ich aus finanziellen Gründen immer günstigere Notizbücher gekauft, aber leider kann ich darin nur Buntstifte und ausradierbare Textmarker benutzen, alles andere scheint durch oder noch schlimmer.
Vielleicht hast Du oder jemand aus der Community eine Empfehlung für mich.
Ich würde mich über jeglichen kreativen Content von dir freuen. Als nicht zahlender UA-cam Konsument freue ich mich immer über kreative Videos von talentierten Menschen 🦆😉.

Wie Du wahrscheinlich mitbekommen hast benutze ich meistens die von notebook therapy und bin damit auch sehr zufrieden, allerdings stimme ich dir zu, dass die nicht gerade günstig sind und mit Shipping noch dazu kann ich total verstehen, wenn man dort nicht bestellen möchte. Ich habe noch nicht so viele andere getestet, aber scribbles that matter und dingbats fand ich früher auch ganz gut. Ich weiß aber nicht wo die aktuell preislich liegen. Ansonsten würde ich dir empfehlen beim kauf auf die Papierstärke zu gucken. Ab ca 100gsm sollte schon nicht mehr ganz so schnell was durchbluten. Meins hat glaube ich 150 was schon sehr dickes Papier ist, heißt aber auch dass ich da echt lange auf einer Stelle malen müsste bis überhaupt was durchgeht. Es gibt aber auch Medien die einfach immer durchgehen, egal wie dick das Papier ist, das ist zum Beipiel bei vielen Stempelkissen, Füllern bzw. Tinte und natürlich Alkoholmarkern so. Welche Medien würdest Du denn gerne in deinem Notizbuch benutzen? :) Wenn es nicht unbedingt Dot Grid haben muss kann ich dir das Talens art creation sketchbook empfehlen, das ist für 140gsm Papier für ich glaube 7 Euro noch echt günstig.
Ich hoffe ich konnte dir damit vielleicht wenigstens ein bisschen weiterhelfen. Bei weiteren Fragen versuche ich gern zu helfen!

@@ArtnFoxes Ich danke Dir sehr für Deine Antwort. Gerne würde ich Brushpens, Filzstifte, oder sogar Wasserfarben benutzen. Meine Notebooks haben eine Papierstärke zwischen 120 - 140 gsm. Und doch ghosten saftige Stifte durch. Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass die Journals so preisgünstig waren. Für nächstes Jahr plane ich ein STM mit 160 gsm zu benutzen. Zur Zeit kostet es ungefähr 22,-€.

Ach krass, das ist ja schon recht dickes Papier. Wird wohl dann wirklich nicht die beste Papierqualität sein :/ Mit STM hab ich gute Erfahrungen gemacht, allerdings ist das schon ein paar Jahre her. Ich weiß nicht ob die an ihrem Papier was geändert haben in der Zeit. Aber ich drücke dir die Daumen, dass das dann für dich auch besser funktioniert. Brushpens und Filzstifte sollten locker klargehen, Wasserfarbe habe ich in meinen Bullet Journals kaum bis gar nicht benutzt, aber solange Du nicht zuviel Wasser verwendest sollte das eigentlich auch funktionieren denke ich :)
Bei meinem Mai Setup war gar nicht soviel dahinter, ich habe Enten im Skizzenbuch gezeichnet, hatte Spaß dabei und habe mich dann dazu entschieden ein Bujo Setup daraus zu machen :) Tatsächlich sind es mittlerweile oft recht kurzfristige Ideen. Früher habe ich mir da noch viel mehr den Kopf drüber zerbrochen :D

I like your bujo. I enjoy watching others do their bujos. I don't come for the art (i do like bujos pretty, but its not the same) , no offence, but i simply don't care about that. Perhaps start a new art channel and don't try to force these to mix.
That’s totally okay! It’s not my intention to force anyone to watch content they are not interested in, just wanted to make sure people who aren’t subscribed know that I’m doing that kind of content too and since I’m only doing one bujo video a month it’s just convenient for me to fill the ,spare time’ with art content. And at the moment I don’t think I could manage a second channel. But if people are not interested in my art content that’s totally fine and I’m not offended at all! And also I agree that it’s not the same. Otherwise I would probably be okay with only doing bujo content
