They make this grinding or teeth chattering sound which Bruxing. Grinding their teeth. When they boggle their eyes bulge out of their head so rats brux and boggle. They can do it when they are happy, in pain or stressed. Hormonal males will do it out of aggression. But it's a sign of contentment for most rats 🐀
