I remember my old Vauxhall Astra, and you used to have to take the full light unit out. I long for the older cars with the easy access. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah I know what you mean. Such different times now. Everything is electronic.

Brilliant. Thank you - I've just had the first bulb go on my 220D and I got as far as pulling the loom plug off the back of the bulb but couldn't find a way of extracting the bulb itself. Clearly from your video the both come out together. 👍

One question for you. The Mercedes GLC250D 4MATIC. I have splashed cola on the power switch for the maps/radio button on/off. I have cleaned it, but it sometimes puts up a fault code. If I clean the area well with wet wipes, the button loosens, and the fault code disappears. Is it easy to remove and clean or is it best to get a new unit? Unit has traction control on/off radio display, manual drive override and switch to change to sport mode. It is an August 2017. I accept that what you will give is advice only from one person to another and I do not hold you liable in any way for any kind advice given. This fault will happen after we get a warm spell and the residue of sticky cola seems to get sticky again. Any help appreciated. I can take it to mercedes but if there are just a few screws or the buttons can be forced out then that would save a fortune. Thanks again.

Hi, to be honest I never really removed one on that model, so I can’t really advise sorry. Usually I have a good look before removing and making a video. But of course have to be careful not to brake anything. So in any case better to take it to the dealership. Sounds like the cola got into the electronics.
