Ours has been great. We even found problems in our house due to the sensors and monitoring, like insufficient gas stove vent hoods, gassy cheap furniture, etc. I keep it with me during allergy season.
I had the 7710i for a year and it was awesome. It's out of stock now so I grabbed the 7770i after the return of the 7710i to the manufacturer after the sensor could not determine the proper fan speed for each setting. Auto and low were high and med was low and high was high. This started happening after vacuuming the sensor to clean it per the instructions. Waiting on the 7770i and hope it lasts longer. The 7770i is $799 which is INSANE for a filter, but Blueair has the highest CADR score of any filter even dyson which is why I'm an idiot and buy them.
I think it's arguably worth it due to how long the filters last and the price you can get the filters for, which can make the total cost of ownership lower than some other air purifiers down the line. I have a 7770i and it's been pretty great overall. Unfortunately though, it looks like the HealthProtect line is now discontinued in the US and Canada (no retailer really has any in stock anymore, and the Blueair US and Canadian websites no longer actively list the line, yet Bluair's website for other regions still do)
I think it out performs it just due to the total air it can pass through the machine. I also looked at studies where the Dyson didn’t actually help much with air quickly
For those who aren't app sophisticates, can this machine run using the manual settings on the top of the machine, alone ? I'll be interested to see your choice for the affordable machine too. Thank you for your time !
You do not need to use the app to work the air purifier. I do not even use the app maybe once a month when I am too lazy to get up to touch the blueair air purifier.
Hey I’d like to ask you about your experience with the Smartfilter. I’m skeptical on the RFID/NFC chip in them… I feel as though there may be foul play … Does the machine stop working when the filter is detected at 0% life? I just feel it might be like how Printer ink detects at empty but there is so much ink inside
@@chanc1 oh ya i got mines still running for 8months now the filter life is 24% . However i use the Welcome Home Option. basically my whole air purifier goes on standby when i leave the home it automatically shuts off and when i am 15km near my home, back from work it turns on before i reach the house. i love it. Also maintenance is important every month i will vacuum the outside filter screens not the actual smart filter for bigger particles like hair and accumulated dust.
@@Ali-zv1yk Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply and very nice about the filter. How is the sound? Mainly buying it since from what I see it should be one if not the most quiet air purifier considering noice/performance ratio. And just to make sure I understand you correctly, have you confirmed that if the filter reaches 0% the device can stil be used with the "dirty" filters. Cicne there are some tricks to prolong the life of a filter such as antistatic slip cover on top of it and similar tricks, I suspect I will be able to at least double the life of the filters. But that won't be an option if the device gets locked out until the filter is changed with a new one with the appropriate RFID chip...
@@chanc1 great question i have not reached 0percent yet. I still have my suspicions and i will definitely reply back if it requires me to change the filter. Also id be interested in learning that method in prolonging my filter also if you can explain it in simple terms for me 😂
@@Ali-zv1yk I read some info online that the device does not get bricked once filter reaches 0%; maybe you can follow up once yours reaches 0% to confirm. For the life extention, search electrostatic cotton sheet. Just place it at some point before the hepa filter. In this particular model either needs to be put on top of the hepa filter directly or from what I understand the body is metal one and if it's magnetic you can attach the cotton sheet with 4 magnets in each corner right on the air intake :}
1. Room Coverage: • 7710i: Designed for smaller rooms, with a coverage area of approximately 190 square feet. • 7770i: Designed for larger spaces, with a coverage area of up to 674 square feet. 2. CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate): • The 7770i has a higher CADR, meaning it can clean air more quickly and efficiently in larger rooms compared to the 7710i. 3. Size and Weight: • The 7770i is larger and heavier than the 7710i, reflecting its increased capacity for filtering air in larger spaces. 4. Performance: • Both models use the same HEPASilent Ultra™ technology, which combines mechanical and electrostatic filtration to remove a high percentage of airborne pollutants, but the 7770i offers a more powerful performance due to its size and capacity. 5. Price: • As expected, the 7770i is priced higher due to its larger size and higher capacity for room coverage. Both models include smart features like app control, real-time air quality monitoring, and WhisperSilent operation, but the key difference comes down to the size of the space they are designed to purify. If you have a large room or open-plan space, the 7770i would be a better fit, while the 7710i is more suited for smaller rooms.

Very nice video and great product
I love it even a year later. I have bought multiple of them now and they are amazing!
Have you noticed over time the light bars shorten ? They use to be longer for me
I haven’t noticed this but I’d assume it’s due to the air filter life maybe !
Most likely the filter life
i was about to get this for prime day but saw they just released the cp7i so i snatched that up at 33% off. but this model looks cooler
How does it compare to Dyson BP04?
I think it out performs it just due to the total air it can pass through the machine. I also looked at studies where the Dyson didn’t actually help much with air quickly

Is it difficult to move because the wheels are on the back?
No it’s super easy to move around!
How long did it take running it to get the filters that dirty?

Did you find out the answer on that? I am also wondering the same.

Does it tell you what it’s picking up in the air ? Like notify you when it smelled cigarette smoke?
It wont tell you that its cigarette smoke but it will say when there is smoke but that could just be from cooking food etc.
Ok thanks !
