There tends to be some confusion about the Mini Facelift procedure. There have been many different names applied to the procedure. We prefer "mini" or "modified" Facelift. It's also been called a "short scar facelift" or an "s-lift." Or given propriety names like a "lifestyle lift" or a "weekend facelift." Some of these names imply that the procedure is "quick and easy," and problems arise when some surgeons provide only minimal adjustments that do not yield significant results.
You still need to do a real surgery to accomplish tangible results.
What is the main difference between a Mini Facelift and a Classic Facelift? The Classic Facelift provides a complete lift of the neck, in addition to the face. The Mini Facelift uses a shorter incision and is appropriate for patients who don't need a neck lift. The Mini Facelift still provides an excellent lift of the mid-face region and jowls.
