i don't get the appeal of sealed games, except maybe as an investment? but otherwise, i just enjoy all the extra bits (if any) and manuals.
i wouldn't have been able to keep the boxes of pillars of eternity sealed for example.

It is hard to resist! The Pillars 1 box has a t-shirt inside that I got separately, and the figurine for Pillars 2 as well. The boxes. Look great on the shelf unopened as well.

Of course, it's every man's choice to do with his property as he pleases and I don't have any intent to reprimand or lecture others about their collection. On the other side, from my point of view, I personally don't like advertising sealed games collecting, for various reasons, mostly for distorting games market (+ ease of counterfeiting shrinkwrap, progressive box damage etc.). I do fully understand and respect your decision for keeping your games sealed, however I think this decision stems rather from speculation than collector's passion. Shrinkwrap in itself is not a collectible.

Very true. I don’t collect for the investment at all. Heck, I’ll probably give most of them away eventually. I just find rarity and the aesthetic of the sealed box to be interesting.
