Those book-styled releases by Electronic Arts are actually very nice - they are more durable, since you don't wear flaps while opening them. Also, after opening the box, to the left is always some backstory and introduction of authors (including photo) - great way to give credit to people who worked on the game, instead of just listing them on the last page of the manual no one cares about.
I still have my complete copy. It came with both 5.25 and 3.5 floppies. My box, manual and map are a little worn but I have it. I still have my complete Star Flight 1 too. That one has a code wheel copy protection.

Great points. I’m working on the next video and it’s the same style. I didn’t realize they all had the developers on the inside flap.

Looks like a Star Control 2 clone, never heard of this game before.
It’s similar, but with more emphasis on trading and commerce.
Its really good. I thnk the guys that made SC2 must have played this.
Yeah it’s the other way round. SFII came out before the first star control.
