Thank you for taking the time to do this!! This was my first time listening to the replay while working and watching the rest later. So many great take aways...👍
I found docorly while on staycation the past 2 weeks. Looking for ways to combine my goals for the new year, financial goals for savings and pay off debt, self-care. And this is what brought me to your channel. I was researching retinol skincare products and honestly hoping to hear good things about Olay (which you guys confirmed as a great product). I coupon shop, and have a 8 month supply of day and night creams. I really wanted to make sure that I'm getting good value for my efforts. Your videos have been great for me to find products that I can purchase through couponing, lip, cleanser, etc. You answer the questions and I feel like I can take care of my skin and still not break the bank.
I really enjoy Doctorly! You and Dr. Shah are very informative and deliver the content effectively. I’m 64 years old with mature combo-oily skin. My main battles are fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and sagging skin. I’m on a regimental skincare that encompasses a lot of important Actives that have improved my complexion but still “a work in progress”. I thought I’ve “done it all” until recently, I saw a video on Estrogen topical cream for the face. Do you recommend this? Thank you!
It would be so great to see an in depth video about spironolactone. I.e Dangers of long term use? I took it for about a year for acne and had the best skin of my life, but stopped taking it for pregnancy.
This was phenomenal education! You hit on so many topics I have been curious about. Can you do future videos going further indepth on body stretch marks and different types of hair loss in women? So grateful for your videos! You guys are my favorite!
Depending on your hyperpigmentation, sadly, there is no "quickest" method for it. In case of melasma, there is no cure, just treatment. Be consistent with brightening products, am & pm and always wear sunscreen.
Eczema! Ugh! Why at 74 does it just appear?? Can stress trigger it? I've been retired 7 years now. I live in a subdivision with many social gatherings. My time is spent most with my grandchildren (5 and 2).
Dr. I have been retired for 2 years. I am so active. I workout every other day, have lunch dates with my friends weekly and happy hour every Friday. Travel always. I promise you will be very busy. Today we (my husband, pup and I) spend the day at Hanna Beach Park then had lunch at the fish camp. There is always something to do.
The only thing about getting skincare stuff by a doctor is that it will be covered by your insurance and it can be cheaper than buying it over the counter stuff so it depends on what you need, I would get a script from a doctor for certain things and others at the store.
Sorry I missed the weekend. I’ve been informed that I have Seborrheic Dermatitis both on my scalp and on my face. Is there any cure for this or just treatments?
Tried the Vichy Matte Sorbet moisturizer is not great. It does not layer over my morning antioxidant serum and I have to work to distribute it into my skin while not overworking it to cause it to pill. More trouble than it is worth.
I tried to slug with it over my retinol and loved it. But last two times it gave something like a stye. First thought it was a regular stye, but it suspiciously quickly disappeared ( in less than 3 days, but first day I even slept with a "hot hands" warmer on my eye, kept shaking it all night lol. In 2 weeks I slugged with tripple paste again and the very next morning I got the stye again. This one was gone in a day. I think it clogged my pores when got too close to eyelashes, I just got careless. But I've done it for months before and nothing happened. I started when got some kind of reaction on my neck that spread onto face after an insect bite. I could not even wash my face with water, everything was burning like acid. For a couple of weeks used only vaseline and triple paste. It's been 9 months since then and everything is gone, but it stayed on my cheeks and now looks like rosacea.
My #1 goal is to Stop Snowing! LOL My legs are extremely dry, so much that when I remove my pants, it's like it is snowing. I just bought coase sea salt to make an exfoliate with. Any ideas would be very appreciated! I'm so tired of hearing "drink more water" 😒
What do you moisturise your legs with? You might need something with a richer consistency. Don't forget, whatever you wash off you have to put something back on.
Remedy for body bumps Cetaphil Rough and Bumpy Alpha H he just talked about seems super nice as well Gold Bond has something similar Try something that has exfoliant (urea, glycolic acid, lactic acid) and retinol. It will help gently remove the dead body cells and hydrate.
What a great guy. Happy New year!

I would love to know the quickest and most reliable way to lighten hyperpigmentation

Cosmelan 👍🏽
The quickest way is for the dermatologist to burn it off with ice or other methods in consultation
