christian menchu The reason we use V8's in america is because our tracks are different. They're big, wide, and sweeping, and unless you have gobs of torque, you can't drift them properly. If you know of a single track in america where this type of drifting can reasonably be done, i'm sure we'd all like to know about it.
Agreed. I just watched the Takahashi Ryousuke vs. Hojo Rin from 5th Stage like, 20 minutes ago. That was definitely my favourite from the series, I think I'm gonna have to go re-watch it. That and watch Wangan Midnight which I've not seen yet
MrComputerSaint if watching this makes you want to go watch initial d instead of going out and buying a drift car, there is something wrong with your brain
Hey, Nori, I was wondering: What's the usual practice when a crash such as the one on 0:38 occurs. Is it that all is fair in love and drift, or does one person accept blame for it? From where I stand it's a simple drifting incident, no guilty party really, but I do wonder about what is customary in such situations, especially in Japan. Thanks.
JKU lab Thank you for the kind words, it's refreshing to read polite words on UA-cam. However, I'm in my twenties, the man in my avatar is Carl Sagan, a man with a sharp wit and a kind heart. :)
Ey Noriyaro My Dude I discovered BETA TOOLS because of you so when there are Beta Tool Trucks in North America you can know 100 % that it was because of your video. I will make sure and let them know that they owe you a place with them. Also your videos show the actual difficulty in drifting and i appreciate you Sir.
This is why I feel the Japanese so much. In North America, cars are just things to get from point A to B. Over there, they're also collectible toys to fuck around with. Drifting is a part of culture formed by the best automotive engineering there ever was
***** Not really, I mean you can't really tell but in countries like japan and china where those things are still in quite a bit of demand there are certain manufacturers that still produce them with more modern specs, like more powerful and responsive CPUs better screens and more capabilities etc but every time I visit a site that sells them I am unable to ship to Australia ._.
10 years later and i'm still watching these, reminds me of a good time in my life.
I would go to Japan JUST for the car culture!
everything else is just a big plus imo
working there and making money mostly sucks tho
@@markoyohan3654 Don't forget the tiny apartments and, well, tiny and cramped everything.
Same, I would too
The smile on the guy @5:15 made me happy
This comment is amazing and underrated
It's the little things in life.
6:07 that turbo sounds like a leer jet coming in for landing damn
Yo it actually does, that Laurel looks siiick.
i wish drifting was like this in the US, its about the culture and having fun, not about having 1000HP+ cars you have to trailer in.
I agree, here in america its about v8s, and I want to see cars with sr20s or rb25 swaps better sound too.
christian menchu rbs are so expensive
malideux not here
Japan lived here for 5 years and i love it and i didn't move just for cars i moved because i love it here

Butchered Mouse e36's cost under 3 grand..........
That gangsta reverse/backwards entry drift as an intro was so sick! I thought he spun out, lost it and was heading straight for that wall for a sec.
The 86 drift day is just majestic, almost surreal!
Your videos genuinely make me happy. Thank you.
Daigo Saito is such a boss, love him! =-)
Although if he was considering panel beating for a living I've suggest sticking to drifting =-D

That was awesome! Please! Do more.
That was the most fun I ever had watching a drift video.
I like the no commentary/no music of that video. Also the fact that you kept each sequence short.
I'm not into drifting but i have to admit the control these guys have is phenominal...
Those AE's and skylines are just sexy as hell
This is why I feel the Japanese so much. In North America, cars are just things to get from point A to B. Over there, they're also collectible toys to fuck around with. Drifting is a part of culture formed by the best automotive engineering there ever was

I can't get over the size of that large オロナミンC in the vending machine at the end. If you were to drink that you'd be awake for at least a week.

Japan seems like a fake, made up, wonderland where all you do is drift, watch anime, and make peace signs ✌️

Awesome sounds.
