I actually believe Caine was responsible for the death of Harrow’s parents. Compare his voice in multiplayer/Most Wanted campaign mission with this one here at 8:57 and listen if they sound the same. Even in the brief scene of the mission “Bishop takes Rook” you can see him behind Livingstone, he seems to recognise her face and tries to avoid contact with her. Even though he wore a balaclava, Jane would’ve gotten a hint on who the intruder was. If Caine even said a word infront of Jane, she would have compared his voice with the intruder’s voice and might get the true answer if Caine shot her parents.

It makes total sense that as Black Ops begins to pivot towards this type of narrative they take advantage of it to expand narrative and gameplay, I have no idea why people are complaining about it, its fresh and really helps the Black Ops sub-series stand out on its own.

What an absolutely atrocious series of missions. Yeah, I'm totally going to care for the character who briefly appeared at the beginning, vanished for the bulk of the story, then returned so we can get trauma-dumped.
The whole Harrow character is so lame… we have 0 emotional connection to this character and we should feel something about her drama?? Why the hell she becomes so important that we should play this entire mindf*ck session as her? She’s irrelevant to the story for the whole game and out of nowhere it comes… Also, this whole level is so boring and unoriginal… it’s basically the same stuff we saw in Black Ops 3 and Cold War. 4 years… 4 years they had and all they did - retold the same stories with different faces and names. One of the worst stories CoD ever had, I really fell bad for those poor bastards that wasted 70$ on it (huge thanks to the junkbox called gamepass, this game belongs there). The campaign is horrible and the worst one in the series. Every mission is just dumb and gimmicky and goes on for way too long. The plot is nonsensical and nearly nonexistent. The new characters are underdeveloped as hell (who thought it was a good idea to make the main character another goddamn blank slate mute, especially since they made it look like Marshall was the protagonist in the marketing?) The safehouse stuff is literally completely pointless unlike in Cold War and omnimovement is more of a hinderance than a help most of the time. The whole campaign is completely rancid and the writers should legitimately feel ashamed for such horrendous writing. People actually thinking this is good is the reason games aren't treated seriously as an art form.
Then, by all means, write for us a blockbuster scenario that will win an oscar, so you can demonstrate your soo vast writer experience. And also create all the assets for the game, spend time testing and refining all the mistakes that they make. I'm sure you can do alone all this, whereas an entire team did not manage to meet your expectations

Nope. it is not Caine. Caine's voice actor voiced Vito Scaletta from Mafia 2 and 3. Caine looks very young in 1991. It must be Alex Mason.

The campaign is horrible and the worst one in the series. Every mission is just dumb and gimmicky and goes on for way too long. The plot is nonsensical and nearly nonexistent. The new characters are underdeveloped as hell (who thought it was a good idea to make the main character another goddamn blank slate mute, especially since they made it look like Marshall was the protagonist in the marketing?) The safehouse stuff is literally completely pointless unlike in Cold War and omnimovement is more of a hinderance than a help most of the time. The whole campaign is completely rancid and the writers should legitimately feel ashamed for such horrendous writing. People actually thinking this is good is the reason games aren't treated seriously as an art form.

Then, by all means, write for us a blockbuster scenario that will win an oscar, so you can demonstrate your soo vast writer experience. And also create all the assets for the game, spend time testing and refining all the mistakes that they make. I'm sure you can do alone all this, whereas an entire team did not manage to meet your expectations
