Squirrel Killing Boxer “Bella’s” 2 Week Board & Train | High Prey Drive Boxer | Florida Dog Trainers

Bella is a 2 year old Boxer with a talent for catching small prey. She thoroughly enjoyed catching, killing, and sometimes eating squirrels on her parents property. This behavior eventually escalated to a serious situation involving a family member’s cat. Bella lacked impulse control, recall, and all around respect towards her handler.
During her 2 week program, we focused on building calmer mindsets, more impulse control, and giving Bella proper exposure to cats. She excelled with her impulse control and showed she can resist the urge to chase. Theough obedience training, we were able to create a much healthier headspace with Bella. Her confidence flourished and she showed off all of her new manners! Great job Bella!
