- This episode we show ya a few short black bear hunts from 2021! One in a tree, one in a hole and one WILD harvest on the ground!!! You Don't wanna miss it! Unfortunately it isn't always a simple harvest, especially with bears! Sometimes you got to do everything you can to keep your dogs from getting hurt!

Youins should have told that youngin to get a rest off of a tree… and tried to have found a rifle with a scope for her .. then after it’s crippled Youins won’t help your hounds , in that hole back in the rocks !!!!that’s not good .. then that boy shoots way to far at that bear in the tree .. then after it’s crippled no one would really run up to it and put the end of the barrel on its head and finish it … and I guarantee you that the reason you continued the first hunt , is no one is making any moves to grab hounds and pull them back .. this wasn’t one you your better videos … and no I’m not a lib …. I hunt with hounds….
We’re not here to try and defend ourselves, BUT the young lady shooting has shot plenty of times before & DID have a rest. Her father is who made thst final shot. And we only showed the footage of when we first arrived at the hole. And we “garuntee you” We continued the hunt because we want to save the footage for an upcoming episode. We appreciate your opinion, but we will continue to show hunts as they happen. For a fellow bear hunter you should know it doesnt always happen as easy as you plan. As we wish we wouldn’t have had such a round with that final bear, But as hunters we DO everything we can to be ethical in our chase. And we always strive to improve and be better, as All Hunters should.
Agreed with some of your statements .. Hey I love mountain folk,, and are way of life ..I like your content .. and I will continue to watch your videos, especially the bear hunts with Yourins bear hounds .. but the first bear should have never made it to that hole .. someone should have ran up and ended it .. that bear seemed to be in pretty ruff shape … and that second bear that Youngin shot was still to far .. Youins should have gotten as close as youins could of have .. I would rather have a bear on the ground that isn’t crippled then having a bear on the ground that is crippled.. them hounds do they jobs and hound hunting isn’t perfect ..never has never will be .. but I believe things could have went a lot different on both them bears .. with respect to youins …,I heard someone say that the bear would bite .. hey that’s hunting we hunt in the smoky mountains and you always take a chance of getting bitten by a bear that’s on the ground grabbing your hounds or hooked by a boar ..it’s hunting and sometimes it goes both ways … With respect to youins and all that you do …
@@smokymtn.bearhunter6979 It definitely could have gone better, and wish it would have. Those spur of the moment judgment calls can make or break a hunt. But again thats why we strive to better ourselves. And also is why we will continue to show the hunts as they happen. We do appreciate you watching and your comments!

Filming the ground and runming make me dizzy
Piss poor bear hunters giving us real ones a bad wrap. should have had a finish man at the base of the tree to do a final kill shot soon as the bear hits the ground, least that’s how we do it in eastern nc. If your scared to be that close don’t be bear hunting.
Bear get wounded and kill a lot of dogs quite often down east for some reason for such brave sharp shooters?
