Good stuff! I live 3 hours from there and am scheduled to camp in the Green Swamp, kayak on the Withlacoochee, and explore Richloam a bit in the second week of Dec. (postponed from last March due to COVID). You've got the rig for that sort of exploring - I'll be sticking more to the main trails and sand trails with my old Outback. Hope it's dried out some by the time I get there.
Cool series, don’t give up must finish the adventure. I went there with my Toyota FJ Cruiser on rain season, bad timing also, I’m taking a kayak next time, lol. By the way you tell me the how to get to the trail with the butterflies . My wife and I are trying photograph all Florida butterflies and flowers we found 30 so far. Thank you.
A kayak is not a bad idea! We have intentions of setting up a website to share our tracks from Gaia GPS. Send us an email at SunshineStateVikings@gmail.com and we can send you the GPX file or a picture of the route. Thank you for enjoying our video and supporting us.
Thank you so much for the compliment! We are truly happy you’re enjoying the content and we can’t wait to get back out to Richloam ourselves to button it up!
Yeah it’s definitely treacherous out there at times and we’ve been trying to stay super cautious. Richloam is for sure is one challenging place but none the less a beautiful place to explore!
your not wrong about losing some clearance! however its simply a personal preference, as airing down adds a small amount of traction in the sand and bottoms of those Richloam water holes but we mainly choose to air down for an increase in comfort as it helps smooth out the ride a significant amount. its a fine balance and trade off we've certainly considered and come to terms with.
Bro I can’t believe this doesn’t have more views, it’s such excellent quality.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
I go there often! Was there like a month ago and my buddy and I got stuck for 3 hours 😂😂
Sounds about for Richloam! Happy you guys got out safely ✌️😃

I live not far from richloam lemme know next time you go! I know som good trails I have a 3rd gen 4runner on a 3” lift
The problem with that area is all the four wheel drives have destroyed the access for the every day person
The street is for every day people, the trails are for the Vikings…
Brave with one truck personally been out there in hunting rigs on 38s but I would never take my dd out there

Where in Florida are you from?
We are right out of Orlando
Why air down that low? Your losing ground clearance by doing that..airing your tires down is most helpful when rock crawling..
