What are powers?

In this video the concept of power as a repeated multiplication operation is introduced, its applications are mentioned and the geometric meaning of area (raising to the second power) and volume (raising to the third power) is explained. Finally, it is shown how to treat some particular powers (raising to the zeroth power, to the 1st power), as well as the indeterminate form of zero to the zeroth power.
