- In this crochet square blanket tutorial, I am going to demonstrate how to crochet this stunning Victoria Blanket. I designed this crochet blanket that resembles my ring. I wear this ring in almost all of my tutorials and it is from a company called Victoria Benelux.
However, it is no longer available so I guess a lookalike crochet blanket will have to do!
I am also using a trellis join and border in this crochet blanket tutorial and it created a stunning see-through effect. I hope you enjoy making this blanket.

Yet another pretty blanket! Love your ring! It's very middle eastern~ It's like a friendship ring that military officer's wives bought in Turkey as a souvenir in the mid-1970s.

The Crochet gods were out this morning. While y’all been busy with the Anna squares I was finishing up 100 lilac Harbour Squares for a solid blanket. I was thinking of using the Continuous Join method. BUT when I opened up YT this morning there you were with the Lattice Join and the blanket designed after your beautiful ring. Perfect to finish off my Lilac blanket. Anja you came through once again! And when that’s done off to start a box of Anna Squares Win Win !

You have just done wonderfully with the design of this blanket!! It's marvy!!! Your interpretation has inspired me to do this...
To make it more like the ring - because gemstones do stand out from their settings because of the facets...
Mine's gonna be two size 2X dc blankets to go around this 4X body of mine, with stuffed appliqué "gems" and black sleeves and mostly the 3 smaller "gems" on them. Except one sleeve will have larger ones on the top of it and one sleeve will have larger ones on the bottom - if that's what it takes to keep the set pattern correct, but it won't will it? Pretty sure it just may just be smaller szs of appliqués on the sleeves, and then just finish out from the elbow down, with a tapered sleeve via a decrease where an underarm seam would be. There were have to be some fitting in of some backtrack stitches along the decrease so I won't end up with a two-short tight place in my sleeve or finished edge or any sort of mess up in the fit, should I need to stretch my arm out.
I may even use silver thread for the "settings" of the "gems" and some very large embroidered "French knots" interspersed for that sort of galactic effect the ring has.
I think that would work. Whaddaya think?

Pretty squares
Anja, I would have liked at least one row done vertically with the intersection joins demonstrated. I realize you believe it's the same, but intersection join is a bit confusing to have glossed over it. Otherwise, I love the blanket it is quite beautiful. I have purchased the pack from you, and plan to start it after the CAL.

If u tried showing how to attach the other side also....the vertical side... U just showed one side attachment and then the border directly
