This study aims to explore SMEs' decision-making processes in Oman - from the perspectives of SME entrepreneurs in the Sultanate of Oman - and the extent to which the decision-making process improves sustainability and increases innovation. In addition to revealing how relationships between decision-making processes and contextual dynamics result in comprehensive framework, the study reports on the correlation between decision-making and organizational effectiveness. The study is based on the assumption that Systematic Decision-making increases organizational flexibility. A scientific philosophy underpins the research report design. A quantitative case study approach involving surveys administered to 40 participants from SME entrepreneurs was used for data collection. The survey includes three themes divided into nine questions. Correlation analysis is used to analyze the quantitative data component and to identify the relationship between Decision Making Processes, Contextual Dynamics, and SME effectiveness. The findings indicate that Systematic decision-making enhances organizational sustainability and innovation ability. They also underscore the significance of Contextual Dynamics, encompassing the Regulatory Environment, Market dynamics, and Economic Environment. The findings suggest that Contextual Dynamics are pivotal in guiding SME decision-making. While the sample is drawn from a single case study in a limited geographical area in Oman, potentially limiting the generalizability of the findings, the study paves the way for further exploration in this field to validate the results in similar locations, sparking curiosity and interest. The study's findings, derived from quantitative data and the voices of participants, shed light on the intricate decision making dynamics of SMEs in Oman. It underscores the crucial role of Contextual Dynamics in implementing SME policies and processes. These insights are not just informative, but also empowering for SME entrepreneurs and decision-makers. They provide a clear understanding of the value of a conducive development environment in enhancing decision-making capabilities and ensuring organizational sustainability
