You really do not know this unless a company will tell you. Unfortunately in the US, most companies do not really care about that as much as some other places and for them, price is the most important. But on the upside rattan is not endangered and it grows very fast, so for rattan, this is usually not an issue.
We get the poles from our rattan supplier. If you want long poles like this I would check for a supplier in your area that may import or supply natural materials like this.

If it grew anywhere it would be in Florida I assume, but I would look for a US importer that may import the raw rattan. Mexico may also grow it.
