The problem you are having it connect is that you have to swipe down the Bose image to connect and sync the device. It's a bit hit and miss but it does connect eventually.... plus the app is needed to update the software in Settings...good review, I have the basic version.

Wish I could say, however I've never had my hands on the mini. I would presume due to this being roughly twice the cost, sound would be much better. 😯

Does this connect and 'maintain' a good Bluetooth connection? Does it drop the connection often?

Did I miss the app or do you really use it? I just got it on Thursday for my birthday & between the most insane electric toothbrush I'm going crazy. :) They should come already put tougher like when you're a little kid. What's the party mode or am I jumping the gun.. I'm still 1/2 way through it. Thanks all & I'm so happy you all like it. We love Bose & with my new Inflatable hot tub/pool, I wasn't taking the chance with my other wireless Bose anymore. Nikki
You don't need to use the app unless you need to update it. Enjoy, it's a great speaker.
@@MyKeyReviews I can't get it to work/sync so I guess maybe it's just not meant to be for me? It never shows up with all my other devices - oh my parents bought a nice carrying case for this too & I can carry the speaker, docking base & cable. so I'm very protected.
the Sound Link Revolve+ louder than the Sound link 3, and sound link mini 2? I'm thinking about purchasing the Bose Sound Link Revolve+ instead of the JBL Xtreme2.

Yes it is, i have te SL mini 2 and te revolve + is amazing. But the mini 2 is not a bad one
Only one has both mode party mode and also stereo mode or if I want both mode I have to get two ???
The party mode feature is just to link multiple speakers if you have more than one and want to sync audio.

Couldn't compare as I haven't personally used the JBL Charge 3, however the Bose Revolve Plus is double in price if not more, so one would expect the Bose to be better. :)
I've had a listen to both and I think they're both great. It mostly comes down to personal taste of sound, and the fact that the JBL is fully waterproof (you can throw it in a pool) while the Bose is only water resistant (it will withstand rain and splashes fine but no submerging).
I just returned my Charge 3 yesterday and picked up the Revolve+. I contemplated a lot before the switch because the Charge 3 was $220 and the Bose is $370 so not quite double the price but close enough. I liked the almost excessive amount of bass off of the Charge 3 and the overall volume it can produce, as well as the fact that it's completely waterproof but I found the mids and highs to be muffled somewhat because of that bass, tried play around with the EQ and it got a bit better but as soon as I heard the Recolve+ in person I was sold. Bass is strong without overpowering the mids and highs, feels a lot more premium as well.
I think the revolve has a better tuned sound

@@MyKeyReviews Thanks for the answer. You mean you don't/won't or just haven't had the chance. This is a professional one. It hooks up to your phone and then it wants you to use a suction cup to put your phone on the mirror and it is supposed to tell you if you missed a tooth or a section, I mean seriously? I understand either way. You can find me here or on Instagram if you want to take a look, maybe they'd give you a free one. It's Crest + Oral B & is an intelligent brush. - see why I'm confused. You do such amazing, down to anyone's level. I'd just love to see what else you do. Please let me know if I can entice you. :) I'm also known as tiny pineapple. I'm little and I'm obsessed with pineapples. You should have seen everything I got from my little dinner party on my birthday on Thursday night. Anyway. Thanks for responding. How about a Coleman SaluSpa inflatable hot tub that also can be a pool? The smoke alarm is wired into our house; it doesn't need the battery. :)

That is odd though, hmm. maybe try connecting through the system Bluetooth settings first?
*Frank Ding* Already tried that way. 😐 The only other time it worked was when I unpaired them and retried, but after I closed the app, same thing happens.
