- Continuing day 4 of our Northumberland 250 road trip we get to have a look around Craster and Seahouses.
Craster Smokehouse is a renowned producer of smoked fish located in the village of Craster, They specialize in traditional oak-smoked kippers, salmon, and haddock, among other seafood delicacies. Their products are highly regarded for their quality and distinctive flavour.
Seahouses offers picturesque views, a bustling harbour, and easy access to coastal activities such as boat trips, fishing, and birdwatching. It's also a popular base for exploring nearby attractions such as Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island.

Thanks for producing - brought back a few memories as we visited the first harbour on a nice sunny day and remember the car park not being that cheap

We love smoked salmon! What a lovely harbor and a really place to visit we enjoy towns like this very much. Seafood is our favorite lobster and crab is fantastic. The meal you made wasnt seafood but did look very tasty thanks for sharing.

Hi guys. You both said that you wern´t to keen on fish...but do some of your viewers remember from the 1960 s kippers in a boil-in bag with a knob of butter inside ? that was a saturday tea time treat...can you still get them ?
I remember them. My Mum used to buy them for her and my Dad. I don't know if you can still get them though.
I suppose a funeral is a legitimate reason not to get a coffee and cake. But I expect two coffees and cakes next episode! 🤪 This was another really good video. Your evening tea meal looked tasty. I'm not a big fish eater either. But I do love shrimp and crab. Here in Louisiana a very delicious dish is seafood gumbo. Is this something served in the U.k. ? The tide must come up pretty high to get those parked boats afloat .Anything you guys video by the sea is a winner. 2:32
Hi George. We have heard of gumbo. We do have seafood restaurants so I assume it is served in those. When we were in San Marino we were guests at a seafood restaurant. Wexhad to endure 15 courses of fish,including some sushi. We battled our way through it and admitted at the end we didn't like fish. Sandisk who had taken said that we should have said bwfore as they would have taken us elsewhere.
