Had the best sleeps of my last 4 decades at the Old Ship hotel. It is SO QUIET at night in Seahouses. BLISS! Great cask ale there in the bar. HIGHLY recommend ZZZZZZing at the Old Ship, Seahouses. I was born in Northumberland, but my trips to Seahouses most recently (2007, 2009) were from Oklahoma and Texas USA.
Thanks for this Neil...Stayed at the Olde Ship a few years ago now, and back then they were doing a lot of work on the harbour....Lovely place and will go back again soon.
Black Swan pub recommended; excellent, higher class food. Do visit Swalliw’s Smokey for smoked salmon, kippers, crabs, lobsters and superb freshly caught fish . Fit 1 or 2 night stay Dunelm House is an excellent B&B. Spice Hut is the better Indian. Scotts butchers have awesome breakfast baps, superb pies and top notch local meat. Neptune or Hook for fish n chips. Try Cocon’s ice cream next to National Trust shop which sells great gifts including chutneys & jams
Stayed near to seahouses and went on a boat from there to farne islands was amazing, and a visit to Bamburgh castle
Cracking vid. Pal. U missed the little blue French car. Near the booking huts, for the boat trips, lol..

"Bam-burra" not " Bamba" from the Saxon "Bebbinburgh". Think Edinburgh
Does any one know if dogs 🐕 can go on the boats ?
Yes they can.
