    Some nice fish Greg, looks like you had a good trip. We were just on Fraser for the first week of the holidays, land based fishing was pretty poor, tides & moon were not on hour side. Looks like you had much better result. Your drone footage is very interesting with the reaction of the sharks to the light pretty intriguing.

      Thanks mate. Shes just turned 15 years old and starting to show some wear and tear but otherwise its pretty good. We did all the prep work ourselves before painting and I reckon that made a big difference. Keeping it in a shed out of the weather also makes a huge difference. Cheers

    just wondering as these deep water fish get fished harder with all this electronics, electric reels etc. shark predation not included in bag limits are reduced overall sizes a reflection of potential over fishing. Is it getting closer to more closures reduced bag-limits etc.etc. You can be certain fisheries are watching.

    • @gregswickedfishing
      @gregswickedfishing  Рік тому

      They're watching very closely mate and with good reason. A huge amount of fish are being eaten by sharks and it's concerning how they will approach this problem. The public backlash would be huge if sharks were targeted and you know the greens would push it as a shark cull when it's simply trying to fix an imbalance in the eco system. I really only see one solution coming for this and it's not what fisherman will want to hear.
