    TF || D has two subunits - TBP( TATA binding protein) and TAF ( TBP Associated Factors)
    TBP subunit (1) = recognise and bind to Tata region of promoter and create sharp bend in dna along tata region.
    TAF Subunits (11) = recognise other promoter regions i.e. DCE, NTE, DPE etc
    Total subunits in TF || D = 1+11= 12 subunits.
    TF||A = stabilise TBP and TAF binding with DNA
    TF||B is intermediate to recruit RNA polymerase and
    TF||F is actually recruiting RNA pol thats why it is called Escorting protein.
    I wanted to explore the role of mediator , HAT proteins in transcription initiation.Kindly elaborate that too.
