• Closing thoughts:
o On wrist - Handsom retro profile, compact without feeling undersized, proportions offer great wrist presence
o Model Variants - Check site links for current options and availability
o Comparable models - New 39mm Oris Divers Date models, an updated and improved evolution of their Divers Sixty-Five platform
Adding applied indices and a date window at 6 o’clock to a similarly sized w/similarly performing SW200 Sellita movement, but has an odd 19mm lug width for its faux-rivet bracelet, lacks a toolless micro-adjust clasp, and appears to have generally less complex case finishes, while retailing for a fair amount more at $2,700
o Bottom-line - Vintage ‘Big-Crown’ Skindivers have been hugely popular for quite some time now, so it is refreshing to see something newer hit the market that feels different enough to generate some genuine excitement. Vulcain’s Skindiver Nautique is a great example of a watch that finds balance across a wide market of folks looking for vintage good looks along with modern build quality and a direct tie to heritage beyond just recapturing the feeling of an era and actually reissuing and improving a classic from an iconic brand

The Vulcain skindiver is probably one of the BEST alternatives to the Rolex Submariner. If someone wants that style but it's actually closer to the Submariner's from the early 60s. Like the ref 6538
I love this watch, especially the orange dial one but I saw a lot of them with misalignment print on the bezel, especially at the 30min mark
I like this bracelet of theirs better than the oyster style one. quick adjust great to see. all in all a really solid offering.
I prefer their oyster-style bracelet. Totally unique.
I like the other bracelet more.
Needs lumed bezel and quick bars, other than that great watch.
That would take away the heritage of the original and look completely fake.
So nice. I would be afraid to scratch it
$1,800 for that?? 38hr power reserve? Yeah, no. I’d rather have an Airain Sous-Marine-waaay more character and a proper movement w/68 hours of PR.
