Modular techno live set #15

I'm still having lots of fun with the new modules ! The Bastl Pizza's 3 Oscillators are going directly to the SSF Vortices. I just love the sound of this mixer which I believe, was made to emulate the warmth of old school mixing desks and analog tapes. There's a couple of send/returns going to an FX Aid module and Endorphine's Milky Way for delay and reverb, and some feedback is happening on the mixer. The MI Plaits, also going to the Vortices, is running through the MI Blades filter and then to an FX aid XL for some reverb. The Plaits is set on that last green algorithm that sounds like a human voice. This voice is controlled by the Erica Synths Black Joystick. I'm using MI Stages to sequence the pitch of the synths, and enveloppes are being sent by the Oxi One sequencer's CV outs (really cool feature where you can control the amplitude with velocity and decay with gate length) to open the Vortices' VCAs. All the drums are coming from the Flame Instruments FIRE module, triggered in MIDI by the Oxi One. The multitrack mode allows me to have both drums and synths sequences on the same grid. Drums also benefits from the Oxi's enveloppes, going to the Befaco Hexmix VCA, and adding delay/reverb with the FX Aid and Eventide H9 in send/returns done by the Hexpander. They are then going to the Octatrack's 4 mono inputs to add FX like filtering or reverb. More send/return FXs are done with the OT's cue out going to the Strymon Volante and Empress Reverb. The Ot's main outs are passing through the Elektron Analog Heat for a bit of saturation and filtering. The drums and the synths are being sidechained by the kick pattern, which is also sending an enveloppe from the CV out of the Oxi One to the Intellijel Triplatt to inverse and accentuate the signal for that pumping effect, made possible by the Intellijel Quad VCA. I think that covers most of the patch. Oh and the big claps and noise are coming from the OT. Don't know if that's helpful to anyone or if anyone would even read so far, but who knows. Enjoy !
