I love this pattern, very easy. I did make an adjustment, as I'm sure everyone knows shoes don't always fit everyone feet in the same way. I swapped the 12 rows with the 17 rows (12 rows for heel, back n forth; then 17 rows for front, round knit) and they fit so much better for my granddaughter. Just an idea for those that don't like the fit of the original pattern. She didn't like the opening being so long and it ended up being so much more comfy and fit much snugger without slipping off for her.
I don't have the person 4 to 5 years old here but I would need to know how long to make the hand,( how many rounds)how many pegs for the thumb and how many rounds?? Thank you
This is similar to a pattern I use too make..I only used all ewra p stitches.using same amount of rows..is it necessary to bring stitches going in front on every other row?this pattern can be used for adults using the24" loom and increase the amount of rows..right?you are using the12" loom for children i believe!!thanks for making this so easy!!Blessings....
SylvieRio1 Hi, the 12peg loom is also known as the flower loom. they sell for usually around $5 at Walmart. they are sold separately from the other looms. In the Boye™ brand, anyways. There's so many things you can make with the flower (12 peg) loom, than just flowers! I hope that helps!! :)
Good to know my granddaughter foot measures 6 inches, so I guess I would have to leave out a few rows. Would you consider making baby booties and showing us how to do the heel on this loom please....thanks :)
sarah jackson Thanks for your question! I have never made this for a two year old, however I feel it you measured the foot that you could make it for a two year old. It would be less stitching after the bottom of the foot. I hope that makes sense. Please let me know if it doesn't. 😁
Littu Thomas Thank you so much for your kind words! I am not sure how many rows I made in total. I made it to fit my daughter but I can check for you in my notes. 🙂 Thank you for being part of my channel.

Hey sweetie I am getting requests for newborn and toddler slipper. How can do it should I use the flower loom
Sheila Wallace Yes, definitely use the flower loom. ❤️
Where on earth did you find that 12 peg knitting loom? Smallest one I can find is a 24 peg loom.
SylvieRio1 This loom came with my Knifty Knitter set. :-) I have also seen a few 12 peg looms at Wallmart recently.

Would the slipper you are making in this video fit a 2 year old or is it too large
