Thank you for watching our recording of the AUMB show. Please be sure to check on the band's official video too! ua-cam.com/video/-OJa-qUaZRQ/v-deo.html
AUMB was awesome as usual! They always try to bring something for all different tastes, and last night’s show blended a wide range of “country” beautifully. Love that they showcase exceptional musicians, especially those Auburn is fortunate to have on staff. And the drill is amazing - gotta love a bounce line!! War Eagle, E2C, for being so supportive of these talented men and women.
I was at the game. The half time show was OK, A&M was much better... The one thing that I hated about the half time show is when the faculty member (old adult) stole the spot light with his fiddle performance. I dont want to see faculty perform anything at a half time show.... Let the students shine, that should have been a student or nobody...
From the perspective of someone in the band: I loved the fiddle part. He is a long standing faculty that members love, and it gives us a chance to show off the technical marching sequence. We probably could’ve opened up the spot for auditions, but I feel like there would many less applicants compared to last year when we had tryouts for the Metallica guitar solo. I’ve seen a general sentiment that the A&M show was better, but I don’t know why specifically. I’m probably biased, but I believe our show had better intensity, volume, and quality (sound and marching). I’m also not a huge fan of dance sequences outside of the dance line, though I do admit their choreography was good. Why did you think A&M is better specifically? I’d genuinely like to know.
@@Jacob-fl7zploved the half time show and the solo! 🙌 A&M was great too. Totally different feel, but both were incredible. Your formations were spotless and so entertaining esp during the solo. And the fact that no one fell over in that heat is an accomplishment in itself.
@@Jacob-fl7zp The only time I get excited about our band is the opening coming out of the tunnel... The half time shows are well mostly boring. I also sit in the endzone and don't always hear all the parts due to them playing away from my seat, so many songs are unrecognizable. And I understand the many many hours of practice that goes into marching around on the field in straight lines but that is well boring to watch in my opinion. A&M looked like they were having fun, we looked like we were just robots or machines... And the last thing I want to see is a professor on the screen playing a fiddle no matter how great of a guy he is.... Should have been a student...

Great show and performance!!
Even better in person.
@E2CNetwork I'll be there this weekend! And saw them at the Band-o-rama.
What is the first song? I'm trying to listen to the announcer but the auto-captions aren't helping me out

Well, next time give it a chance to support the band. 😉
