As an avid sports enthusiast, Lok was passionate about staying active; participating in basketball, Muay Thai, tennis, and even hitting the slopes each year.
However, a sudden ACL rupture during a basketball game was a major setback.
"I was going for a layup, and something twisted or popped during the first step. That’s when I knew I'd ruptured my ACL."
After undergoing reconstruction surgery, Lok knew that getting back to 100% would require serious dedication and the right guidance.
"I’m still relatively young, and I take this very seriously. I wanted to make sure that I can get back to 100% after my surgery. I know it takes a lot of knowledge, time, and effort."
Lok’s search for a professional and knowledgeable team led her to us, thanks to a friend’s recommendation and her own research.
"I came in, and it just felt good. I joined and started working with the team right away."
From prehab before surgery to ongoing rehab afterward, Lok found the expertise and support she needed to navigate her recovery journey.

Lok’s hard work is already paying off.
"Yesterday, I did a bit of running-25 x 100m runs. That felt good. It's something I couldn’t have done four months ago after surgery."
