Even though it's not made for it, this is the perfect theme for The Knights of the Silver Order in Argonvostholt. The good guys fighting Stahd beyond their deaths but turned into hopeless husks when the mists came. The vibe of hope fits perfect for Godfrey Gwilym.
My thoughts exactly!
Be careful stranger, you walk the path that hundreds before you have. I pray you are spared from their fate.
This is so beautiful. It feels so perfectly balanced between somber and soft, while still keeping some of the disturbing undertones that make CoS what it is. You're an incredible composer, thank you for another fantastic piece.
The love this man puts into his music is shown through every phrase
I love how somber this one is perfectly matching what is happening with the march of the dead event.
Surprisingly one of my new favorite themes besides "He is the Ancient, He is the Land". I'm absolutely in love with your work, and Im planning on supporting you through patron soon! Please continue this amazing series!
I care about immersion a lot as a DM and your music hits the nail on the head. Glad to see more coming out, keep it up 👍
So many feels on this one! I'm happy to have different theme, not just battle music :) This will be perfect for a character death or something or event as sad.
I really love the atmosphere of this and the way it incorporates the main theme.
Just in time for session tonight!
Yup, just found my Player Character death theme. I'm using this in every campaign I run now lol
Out of all the new ones this one is the best by far! Keep up the solid work!!
Just in time for my curse of strahd campaign. Amazing work as always. ♥
LOVE THIS!!!!! Wish I could have used it for when my players saw the March... Very well done sir. You inspire us all!
Their ghosts march, night after night to the top of the tower of Ravenloft, and throw themselves off. Forever.
Second Campaign is starting near Halloween. Splendid song!
This will be the main ambient music for my upcoming Curse of Strahd game. Love what you do!
Absolutely loving all of these new tracks you've been creating for CoS.
Curse of Strahd really is 5e best campaign, huh?
Yes
My choice goes to Icewind Dale but yeah.
Best popular one for sure, but Icewind Dale is pretty good with a good DM and Critical Role: Call of the Netherdeep is just as good, though quite unknown.
You always time these perfectly, this is happening on Monday for my campaign haha
Perfection!!!
we NEED an extended version of this!
Fuckin greatttt, never stoppp making music you're a legend man, best fantasy composer on the scene rn imo
This is certainly an epilogue song. To me, I feel the bittersweetness of finally departing the accursed place under the light of the first sunrise in centuries. Reminded of all that the party has had to do and what they've had to become. They do not leave the Barovian Valley as triumphant heroes, but as haunted apparitions of their former selves. Though they now leave Barovia, Barovia will never leave them.
Somber, but with a note of hope. I think it’ll be perfect for if or when the party gets Ireena to the Shrine of the White Sun.
Another wonderful song from my favorite fantasy composer. Can't wait to use it in my upcoming campaign, I feel like this one would be nice for backround music in a role-play scenario with an important npc.
Or maybe travel?
This theme was perfect when one of the PCs died at the hand of the Strahd’s minions. The party was confident that they could handle anything Barovia could throw at them. That was until the the cleric of the party died saving another party member. It shook them to their core both in character and at the table.
Damn, this sounds like a good song for my Doomed Forgotten Realms Campaign, I'm still looking for some somber ambient music for that one
Is this for the undead precession that leaves the Barovia Graveyard in the village?! No matter what, I’m listening to it and loving it😊
Edit: As a still in campaign player, no serious spoilers please🙏
Yeah, that’s what it is the event is called march of the dead
@@stabbystab8363 that’s amazing. My party saw that I think on our 3rd night in Barovia, we had just finished being introduced to Ismark and Ireena and were in the process of tracking some strange noises around the church I believe the day before. Such an amazing sight, it was only my PC that saw the sight after waking from a nightmare out of the Burgomasters window. Amazing moment for sure!
Wonderful song as the previous ones! Please, tell me you are going to do also the songs for Pit of the Abyss! I always voted it in your pools! I really qish to have a soundtrack for my campaign.
had no idea about these new songs or the bonus tracks until recently and they're all breathtaking, will any of them be on Spotify when the new tracks are done?
Hey, just a request, but can you do a Wild Beyond the Witchlight soundtrack, just asking, also love your soundtracks, been using them for a while
check his channel, he already did witchlight.. he's done a few
@@bluenocture Thanks, I'll try and find them
@@bluenocture just saw them, must’ve been a weird glitch or something
For those just starting CoS and may need some help, message me
okay i mean no ill will what so ever as i absolutely adore a lot of your stuff but man this is getting a tad too similar to one another in this sound track. the new tracks you're releasing are blending together with no real distinct personality between the tracks where the motif totally consumes the song itself preventing it from being its own thing. there's no denying it sounds hella good easily you are so talented in that regard but it really runs the risk of being too generic. dont take this as a "bah bad man do bad thing" post, its more like im really wanting to point out possible potholes before we run over them.
regardless, really good stuff still
I kinda agree. Your music is already exceptionnal but I'm sure you're open to constructive feedback :)
The last tracks feel like variations of the main theme, they don't differentiate that much from each other.
For instance Dream Pastries, The Creeping Hut, Dancing with the Wolves & Glimmer of Hope are all great tracks with their own identity
The new tracks perfectly fill their role (as toolkit for DMs) but I feel there is a missed opportunity here.
I hope it helps !
TBH it doesn't sound like any "march of dead"
I don't know if you've played the campaign, but the march referred to here is a ghostly procession of failed adventurers that are left to wander the road from Barovia to Ravenloft every night. It's not meant to be menacing so much as sad, so I think this track fits the mood perfectly.
@@vernandsockey8611 Ah i see. Thx for clarifying :)
