Curse of Strahd was one of the best campaigns I ran, Your music was a big help in immersing my players and myself in the setting and characters. My players learned to fear Strahd's theme cause when they heard it they knew he was coming. Thank you for making Curse of Strahd super special.
This entire album is phenomenal and a fantastic addition to the original Into the Mists. Gotta give a particular shout out to Madness of the Abbott. There's a particular somberness that perfectly sums the character up musically, it really captures the evil that the Abbott himself is unaware he hides within him.
This is all going in my campaign IMMEDIATELY. Alongside the old album as well. The two compliment each other so perfectly.
I loved the original the reworked tracks add sooo much, I can't wait to use this when I run curse of strahd!
Absolutely amazing! This rework while a bit more tame definitely captures the themes of Curse of Strahd and the older soundtrack! I would appreciate the two unreleased songs (Barovian Romance and Madness of the Abbot) to be separate videos though.
Welp...here I am, planning my future CoS campaign and just as I check UA-cam for some ambient music, this gets uploaded. I've listened to your other Strahd playlist and I can just imagine this is just as fantastic. Thank you for the awesome work.
I can't quite express how in love I am with this soundtrack and it's predecessor... They're so amazing and atmospheric. They elevated my first Curse of Strahd game so much, and I intend to use it again the next time I return to Barovia.
Love love looooove the Abbot's theme
It is safe to say, your haunting leitmotif for Curse of Strahd has taken up permanent residence within my brain. I catch myself humming or whistling it daily, a permanent reminder of the beautiful compositions to make our sessions just that much better. Keep up the great work!
Your first soundtrack made my CoS campaign. I’m so glad to see you making more! That motif will forever bring me back to Strahd
Awesome work, being part of the patreon well worth it
Just in time for the finale of my almost 2 year long Curse of Strahd home game. Your music is amazing!
Absolutely beautiful, I used your first album for the first half of my campaign, now as wee nearing the end game I can use your delightful music to make it truly amazing
In the final bit of my campaign. 1 1/2 years later. Been using your soundtracks for the intro to the session and recap. Thanks so much for this awesome soundtrack! So excited to share this new one. It really nails the vibe. Thanks again for your contribution!
So I’m running Curse of Strahd right now and we’re about 4 sessions in, but your music has helped massively in immersing everyone (including myself). I LOVE your work and the wonderful music you’ve made ❤️ next session they’ll be meeting strahd for the first time and I can’t wait to use I am the ancient I am the land. Thank you so much again!
Oh yess!!!! Your channel is the gift that keeps on giving.
This is glorious! Fingers crossed for LMoP next, since I’m currently running it on stream and would love some music for it. Any soundtrack is going to be awesome, though! I’m betting Tyranny of Dragons and Out of the Abyss would both make for some INCREDIBLE music.
I'm playing a Homebrew Innistrad campaign and this soundtrack is exactly what I was looking for. Thx mate
Wonderful! Both albums are big help when I'm writing my vampire story. :) ❤🔥
I am restarting my campain of CoS this week. Love the vibe
Thank you so much for making this, super excited to use it for strahdy
Oh my goodness seeing you have a second album. AND PURCHASED
This is honestly such an amazing soundtrack thank you for being so awesome. My players really enjoy hearing it.
I love these albums! You just keep getting better and better. The songs really help to shape how I, as a DM, envision and depict the scenes and characters. For example, I originally imagined The Abbot as a crazed but righteous man, self-confident and self-assured that his way was the right. But hearing your song, I see him as a tragic fellow. A man who has been charmed by the devil and turned away from his own pure and genuinely good intentions, into something that preys upon others. He has moments of regret for the things he's done and really wants to make things right, but what that looks like has been twisted by the devil. It goes to show how deeply evil Strahd is, to do such a thing and find amusement in it. I've been using these songs nonstop for sessions and occasionally catch players humming or bopping along with them! This album is awesome. Thanks for all you do.
Awesome stuff! I love how these songs have a somewhat different mood compared to the original. Fantastic addition to an already epic soundtrack.
I might get to run this campaign soon and this music fits SO perfectly. Thank you.
Big thumbs up! Stellar work once more!
Absolutely incredible work
Great as always!
One of not many interpretations of what Masterpiece means
Hi there! I'm very fond of your CoS soundtrack, amazing for creating ambience and for helping me get my players into a spooky mood! Would it be okay if I added a couple of your tracks into a stream or playlist of my own on here (credited, of course)?
I am always happy when I listen to your Curse of Strahd content 💕 Thank you for your work. And I love that you made a theme for the Abbot! Are you going to release the single video for the song?
Je vais être honnête : pour la sonorité et les émotions dégagées, je préfère le premier album de Curse of Strahd. Mais "Madness of the Abbot" est juste parfaite et merveilleuse à entendre! C'est ma favorite de cet album-là!
Epic!
Does anyone have any suggestions for ambience or background music for the rest of the game?
Swordcoast soundtracks (I think that’s the name) has a lot of ambience
Huzzah!
Have you considered making extended versions of your songs? As a DM, I much prefer those to looping them. But either way, love the work and keep it up!
Usually his bandcamp albums have an extended version of the songs. I've used those for DM'ing quite a lot.
Fantastic work! I’d love to see these on Apple Music, when do you think that will happen? (If ever)
Do you intend to make one of these for the Descent Into Avernus soundtrack? 👀
You mean something like this? 👀
