Exactly. A ton of songs people think Nirvana created were covers. Always makes me laugh when people try and argue that Johnny Cash wrote "Hurt." Lol. That song was out almost 2 decades by Nin Inch Nails and the creative god that is Trent Reznor, before Johnny Cash even heard of the song.

i get what you're saying, but i still disagree. nobody is trying to pretend grunge is an alive movement, but to be honest there are still a handful of bands that produce what would be classified as "grunge". a genre of music is never really "dead" or "gone" it just takes a break for a while. but we can agree to disagree on that one.

this is late 80s early 90s at it best but i would have to say that the MEAT PUPPETS sung this song originally and Nirvana did this on MTV UNPLUGGED (something that they need to bring back cause MTV IS NOT MTV ANYMORE ITS MORE OF REALITY SHOWS..... plz #MTV bring back UNPLUGGED and the REAL WORLD)

no, grunge isn't dead. nobody's living in the past. maybe you don't like this genre or song, but we do. what's the harm to still love a band that's gone? people still obsess over the Beatles and they haven't been around since the 70s & half of em are dead. nothing "killed" rock and roll. it still exists, ha. but your little "comeback" at Julia ZS was cute. good try, but you gotta learn something dude: everyone has different music tastes, thats why genres exist. stop the hate, enjoy the music.
