I can't relate to NF's dreams and goals, but I think we can all relate to just the emotional turmoil and that fluctuating struggle of determination, depression, that perseverance. It's crazy to think that if NF gave up like I do on my passions, I wouldn't have his music to hit me so hard and to relate to, and to lift me from some of my most hopeless moments. And just your analysis is hitting me so much harder, encouraging me to devote more to my passion. We all have the potential to create something unique and beautiful and incredible. Never let others get you down. When others won't stand by you, stand behind yourself so that you can look back with pride.

I was a game developer in college. This hit really hard at home. I remember during my final project that we had to create a game from scratch. Nothing like a AAA title or anything like that but something that would showcase our skills and what we've learned so far. I didn't know if people would like my work or pass on it. I had the worst anxiety in the world when I first released it as a beta just for the other students at the college to mess with. When explaining what it was similar to something you'd see at a GamesCon, I would choke up a lot. I would feel genuinely nervous. Eventually I had to get a friend to introduce it for me because emotionally I couldn't bare to stand there anymore even to just my peers. The judgement scared me. I know I did well, but I still had that feeling in my gut that I screwed up somewhere. People would pick on it and I felt that if I couldn't even get my own peers to play it, then I might as well hang up the towel and do something simple like plumbing or auto repair... But suddenly when I finally crawled out of the bathroom to see people crowded around it willing to try and seeing that they enjoyed it, I can tell you, even those 20 odd folks that really enjoyed it brought a passion in me that I never had before. It hit so hard I ended up going back in the bathroom and crying my anxiety out. I ended up puking (profusely) from the adrenaline. My entire life changed that day to see that success is what you make of it. I put my heart and soul into my work and to have seen people love playing it, felt like nothing else I have ever felt before. Y'all keep following your dreams. Keep pushing on. Take the risk. Don't be ruled by fear or anxiety. I have never been much of a social person myself but that one day of bravery gave me the hope that allowed me to finally find and catch up to my dreams. I don't expect to be Mojang and sell one game for billions. I just want to make it in this life doing what I am passionate about. NF hit me REALLY hard on this song.

I am a huge NF fan anyone who has heard him knows that he is different from other rappers that's something so unique about time. In October of 2021 for my birthday I went to NF s clouds tour it was my first concert being there brung tears to my eyes 💕 he was so passionate and into his song and even spoke out about how much this meant to him. Not to mention people out there can relate to him he's not just someone who wants to get paid, he wants to show people how strong they are in tough situations and I believe he shows that well with his time and words.
