I have only used one set of Boyeson reeds and I use them to this day. They work perfect once fitted and shaped to a CT intake reed cage. I have no info on their thicknesses, better ask the company itself. Thanks for watching. RH DSD
Boysen Reed material is best. I have experimented with buying a 125cc reed and cutting it down to fit my dio reed case. It worked and still works very good, especially at high speed. That is what i have personally found out any way. I have a new reed series coming up with the Ultra Large reed valve set up to the dio, I think i will do a video on it. RH DSD KING DIO
Steel is generally used for stock valve material and i have never seen steel for larger valves. The Problem with steel and why they switched to fiber reeds all those years ago, is that if a steel reed breaks due to metal fatigue and is sucked into the engine- it can destroy rings,. the head and piston , very quickly. Plastic reed material is usually a lot less damaging if sucked into an engine. Boyeson makes the best reed materials and best reed cages i personally believe. The Boyseon reed material stability, lets the motor rev higher without "reed flutter" at high speeds, RH

Try taking a flat piece of steel plate, coating it with 4o weight oil and lay it on another flat sheet of metal, then try removing the two pieces. I have recently Updated all My Playlists Videos on this Subject are all in one place for Easy Viewing. Thank you.
Have ever tried using 0.3 or 0.35mm fiber exoxy material to make your own reeds? They sell it as thermal isolating material
