Yes, this reed valve is situated between carbureautor intake and carter. You can use home made paper gasket with vaseline or silicon paste (like red paste for motors). I can recommend to use cca 5mm washer under the reed valve for better mixture flow.
0,30mm see the description. But its not universal thickness for all engines. Depend on bore, rpms etc.. thin are better for low rpm and stock engines and thicker for powerful ones.
Dici che l'apertura delle lamelle funziona allo stesso modo quanto tagliato a metà ? chiedo se hai provato prestazioni/durata in tutti e due i modi , ho soltanto dubbi
@@guidosamson682 Oh sorry man, guido also italian name i think is good language to use xD I asked if you tried both version of carbon plate, will it open just as well when not cutted in middle ?
@@guidosamson682 :D i understand what you mean in first comment, but i ask if you tried performance between 2 methods, are you sure have not felt worst throttle response ?
Thanks for the tutorial
Do you put gasket sheets on both sidesnof the reed valve? Like on the cylinder side and manifold side?

Hello Mirko can you tell me from where you got the carbon fiber sheet i want to make reeds for yamaha RX115
Hi, I got that sheets from local motorcycle e-shop. Try to find something like "parts deport" or "scooter attack" websites.
@@unitkombat how much it cost??
Can i know which thickness is better for high rpm engine i mean jetski engine just like 7000rpm
0.5mm
i installed carbon fiber reed on mine and now theres a gap in between the reeds and the reed sitting housing, is that fine?
Nah. You want there to be no light coming through them if looking through the carb side. It won't run right
Hi. Is it 0.3mm or 3mm thickness. I can't find 0.3mm online. Please help me
It's 0.3 mm
Tvs Suzuki samurai bike 3 Petal read value fibre available....? Urs
How thick is that carbon sheet in mm?

@@mirkodebacio8428 I have rx 135 all stock..... is 0,30mm fit on my motorcycle?
I know the song but what mix is it ? 😁👍🏻

@@unitkombat top man! 👍🏻
Did theses do anything ?
Better throttle response and slightly lower fuel consumption. For tuned engine its necessary, for stock one just fine mod.
Seppo on bi
Do not cut in the middle piece. Leave it as one piece

@@drblunt8241 yes what i mean is that u can leave it as one one piece. So one sheet on each side of the reed.
