- What a surprise indeed. A perfect gift from the perfect people. Uncle Shawn brings everything we needed to make ice cream the old time way. It proved a little challenging to get back into the groove, but this was indeed one of the most enjoyable days ever. Enjoy.

Omgoodness....you all brought back memories....my job was to turn the pail...best ice. ....homemade 😊😊
You have to get custasd powder boil two cops of water then mix the custard powder in plan water bring water boil turn when thicken
Turn off the stove add all ingredients and mixed to taste essence you don't have to wait till it cool throw all ingredients adds sugar an that's it
Exactly, you must have that custard powder ingredient Great effort, though!!
Ellis and family this brought back so much childhood memories on Sundays
Hey Ellis, Sydney’s drawings would look beautiful on teacups. There is a way to transfer them over. What a great job Sydney!!!

Ellis memories come back to me when my stepfather and mom use to make ice cream for us,.ice cream pail just like that .
Good memories are all we have at the end of the day. ✨ Glad you guys are making SWEET ONES by the ICE CREAM PAIL. 👏🎉
Kudos to the gentleman who gave this thoughtful Gift 🎁. 🎈
The kids had fun as usual, and are "snap-shotting" these moments in their minds just like all the Viewers and Subscribers. ⭐ ✨🎉
Ice Cream 🍨🍦 was "invented about 200 BC, and there's documentation that ALEXANDER THE GREAT enjoyed ice cream. 😉
Automation made things easier, but in many cases at the expense of human relationships and bonding.
You'd note the INSTANT JOY AND LAUGHTER AND HAPPINESS that this Manual Ice Cream Maker CHURNED OUT. 👏 Not to mention memories evoked by Subscribers as already mentioned.
We never know who's watching these videos so I like to sweeten them up with a dash of Trinidadian goodies.😉
A word that sounded like - PICONG or PIKONG - was used, and it's origin is FRENCH which ended up in our Trinidadian French Creole Patois vocabulary!👏✨⭐
PICONG or PIKONG comes from the PRESENT PARTICIPLE (i.e. verbs ending in: -ING like cook-ING, and fete-ING, etc.) of the French Verb - PIQUER (to stick or poke) - and is a linguistic alteration over time of the French Present Participle - PIQUANT - meaning "STICKING" or "POKING".
PICONG OR PIKONG thus means in English: "POKING FUN AT" or "JOKING" with someone.
Moreover, what Trinidadians call "PIKKA" when referring to THORNS is that same French Word - PIQUANT (poking or sticking) that is connected to PICONG OR PIKONG!👏✨⭐
So PIKKA AND PICONG OR PIKONG are related! They both come from PIQUANT, one meaning a physical poke from a thorn, and the other poke from joking or poking fun at someone! 🎈
Can't wait to see some more SWEET EXPERIMENTS perhaps while chicken is BBQ-ing on the Coal Pot 😉.
I so so love your channel our Trini people are so giving loving supportive Shawn your family and u are our family also

What a wonderful family have fun and enjoy 💓❤️
I have an electric ice cream maker..it's set up d same way..d only difference is that u plug it on and it spins by itself until d ice cream is finish and it stops. U can use whatever fruit u have at hand to make different flavor ice cream...like d watermelon..boil guava and use d liquid..sour sop..I've made peanut butter flavor..I've used red solo. U can make your own inventions. It have a line on d canister up to where u full your liquid because as it mixes and gets firm it rises. If d pail was filled with ice from d beginning it would've come in faster. That was really nice of Mr Shaun to bless u with d pail and all d other stuff. His paintings look awesome and I must say Sydney's paintings are really beautiful also. Wonderful video as always..❤️ love u guys.
Hi Mr sana u all need to full up with more ice in the pale more home made ice
When putting d ice layers it with salt..salt does combine d mixture firm
Hello Ellis and family I really enjoyed watching you guys make coconut ice cream . I truly enjoy all your videos because there are some that bring back so much memories for me when I was growing up especially with certain words you use and things you say. One such memory it’s about your coconut ice cream and the pale, on a Sunday after Indian movie on the tv the ice cream man used to pass by in every street and you would hear him before he reach our street selling his ice cream on his bike in the ice cream pale, he was from El Dorado and his name was Michael not to sure about that. But when I saw your video today it reminded me of him and my siblings and my Tante and Grandparents.Thank you for sharing please continue to do what you do we enjoy watching you and your family.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing those wonderful memories, and Best Wishes to you and your Family always!👏✨🎈
Remember those days growing up. No one wanted to turn but when ice cream 🍦🍦🍨 done all man rushing.🙃. Very nice 👍🙂
Add more salt and ice
Good night when you add plenty salt on d ice d ice cream does come in quick in have hour

Hi lovely video a little advice next time freeze the Pail it will cause the ice cream to set faster.you also soak the wooden part before making the ice cream. News paper roll and put to the underneath it will help keep the ice I have a pail like this. You always sweeten to your fancy. Even if the recipe say use a tin just use half .
Good night million looking gooood 😋
This ice cream pail reminds me of ours long ago my dad use to make ice cream and we use to turn the pail and wait for the paddle to lick 😊 good old days we also put an allo bag over the ice and salt thanks for sharing

Ellis this vid bring me back to my childhood every weekend it was ice cream making by my grandmother different flavors..... each grandchild turning and waiting in anticipation for their favorite flavor...... bringing back d Ole time days..... stay bless u guys
Good morning Ellis and Mr Sana wonderful family God bless you guys
Growing up my parents had one of these ice cream pail. The only weekends we never made ice-cream was someone borrowed it. My brothers use to get up early on Sunday morning to buy hard ice from the ice truck. My mom use to make all different flavors but coconut was the favorite, that was like 50 years ago. We would all take turns, turning the handle.
When put in the ice put salt ever 3ins and 3ins of ice until the top
Hi good night this rakha rampersad I like how your ice cream came out
Wow Ellis this ice cream pale brings so much of memories for me remembering my parents making ice cream in a pale like that when I was a child. What a blessing, but I have an electric ice cream maker that I haven't use in 4 years, I going to make some homemade ice cream soon. Love yuh ellis
Big up Mr Shawn, lovely gift! Boy that's a lot of work. Mr Sana u really work boy. Love and blessings to u all❤
I believe to that you did not put enough salt. alternate salt.thenyou put ice then you put more salt .then ice. you need plenty salt to bring in the ice-cream.
I prefer that rich creamy way..
Beautiful video , takes me way back ,I remember people would borrow our pail and lend to other people lol, whenever we had any left over liquid my parents add a RED Solo to the mix for an additional Batch
Hi Ellis and Mr Sana. Might I suggest a few pointers:
1. Don’t add any water. The richness would add to creaminess.
Adding water would lend to an ‘icier’ consistency.
2. Chill the mixture for minimum 4 hrs. Overnight would be best
3. Chill the paddle and the canister in the freezer for minimum 4hrs or overnight also
Great videos 💓
The ice is supposed to be filled to the very top.
Much more salt should be used.
Use full cream milk for the fat content
Use fresh coconut as the fat is not contained in the powdered form
The final product brought back so many memories..😢
Hi guys ❤..love this ..very nice.
I haven't seen..an .ice cream pail..
Nice folks❤ ..ice cream looks good ❤❤ keep good guys ❤
That hole in the bucket 🪣 for the excess water to run through, no put plenty ice and salt and just workey workey hand tried, any how that ice cream liquid looks tasty, enjoy every one may God bless you guys 💖 from guys, from Bellrose NY
The ice cream looks so good. Any how lets pray ok.
Amen
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Psalm : 29. 2
Who can compare to the One who created the heavens, the earth, and everything in between? Who can say they can stand on the same ground as the God who made the ultimate sacrifice of love, to save those who didn't even know they needed saving? No one. In all we do, in all we see, and in all we face, we must carry this thought in mind: the God we call our Heavenly Father is the greatest of all. In all His splendor and glory, He counted us worthy to be called His children. There truly is no one like Him.
Dear God, no one can compare to your greatness. There is no one, not a single being, in this universe that can try to stand up to you. In all the things I have read, seen, and heard of your greatness, O Lord, I know that there is so much more to your greatness we are yet to know. I pray that all the earth will come to the knowledge of your greatness, O God, and that we will all come to worship you and give you the praise that is truly due to you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Thank u❤❤❤❤
Ice cream porage.
Well done Mr Sana 👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍🤤🤤
We had one like that. How we did it after fulling the pail with ice sprinkle some salt and cover the pail with the brown aloo bag. And just the handle to turn it visible.
I like my ice cream that consistency 😋
Please save me some lol
It’s so funny that you are making coconut ice cream today. I have a very good friend, a Trini , who is on his way to meet our father in heaven. He called me yesterday and told me he want’s coconut ice cream. Today I went a to the hospital with a wonderful coconut ice cream for him. He enjoyed it. He has cancer and is at the end. Please pray for him. Our heart ❤️ is so sad at this time. Gods blessings to you all and hope you all enjoyed the ice cream.
🙏❤️
Sending Hugs and strength to your friend.
🙏
We send our prayers your way, and no better and thoughtful Gift 🎁 than ice cream 🍨🍦.🎉

Cool ice cream liquid , also put the container in your freezer , overnight even better it
Beautiful people I want an ice ram pale like that girl Ellis
That brings back good memories but also the reason why I went electric motor lol 😂. While Mr Sanna's arms are recovering, look into a Carib beer flavored ice cream. Its extremely delicious you won't believe it. But make sure and use sufficient egg yolks and heavy cream 😉👍👍
I want some ice cream, please.
Hi Ellis this brought back fun memories. My siblings and I took turns turning until the ice cream hardens. Nice video. Blessings always!
Nyc work dear although the video is too long
Hi, yes u cant over churn the ice cream beçause the cream can turn into butter. Usually the icecream comes out a bit soft , has to be refrigerate to firm up. Made lots of ice cream with pail. Experimenting right now without a pail.
Ice cream 🍦 become milkshake 🍧
Viewing from Brazil. That's not the way to churn ice cream. First of all the ice is too little. The secret is, don't stop churnning. Let out the water and keep adding ice. Churn until the handle gets extreamly stiff and refuse to turn. That's an indication that the churnning is finished. In Guyanese language we say "the ice-cream has come" open the can and there you have it. When I was a kid my parents did it every Sunday. That was over 65 years ago.
Hi Mrs Ellis can please say where did your brother purchase the pale &what's the cost thank you , God bless you and your family❤️❤️❤️
Ellis we used to be glad when the ice cream truck come.
The ice needs to be hard ice from the freezer or ❤ice factory ...good job tho
That ice cream needed more ice and water to the top to get it going faster 🎉
Hey Mr. Sana i would like u to make a pera for me ....n let me know the cost..tnx.
