Are the flatslides perhaps a bank of 4 that have been adapted to fit and that’d explain the idle control? As for the filler cap just get a secondhand one👍

I bought a custom show winning v-max in 2010 for £5000 uk, I thought was perfect. it took 6yrs to fix all the problems, now I absolutly love it.
Looks like someone put a lot of money on that bike, a lot of extras

That doubles fuel delivery and flood low revs.

I've got a 1st Gen Vmax too. The carbs are interesting. What kinda carbs are they? V-Boost still operational?
