- In this video, join me as I take you inside an exclusive celebration of the 60th anniversary of Aston Martin's first appearance in a James Bond film, "Goldfinger." It was an incredible experience to attend this special event honouring the enduring partnership between Aston Martin and the iconic James Bond franchise.
The star attraction of the evening without doubt was an actual Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation car, complete with all the necessary gadgets. With an estimated value of over £3 million, this car truly embodies the spirit of 007 and provided attendees with some truly unique photo opportunities.
Hosted in the historic and elegant Burlington Arcade in London, the event was a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old friends. The arcade itself has deep ties to the Bond franchise, with several brands within it sharing a connection to the world of 007. Amongst the many guests from Aston Martin, EON Productions, and associated Bond brands, we were also honored to be joined by the real-life head of MI6, Sir Richard Moore (who’s actually codename is not M but “C”) and his wife.
