大家好，下面我给大家讲解一下如何正确安装调试机械碟刹卡钳。
Hello, everyone! Now i will explain how to install and adjust mechanical disc brake caliper correctly.
我们以车头前进的方向为正方向，左边轮毂安装左卡钳，右边轮毂安装右卡钳。在这里特别提醒广大用户，在卡钳未装配刹车盘之前，不得随意摇动刹车摇臂，因为这时候随意摇动刹车摇臂，会使刹车片之间间隙变小，从而导致刹车盘无法装配。若此时摇动了制动摇臂，导致刹车片之间的间隙变小，装不进刹车盘，这时候需要参照我们后期的关于刹车片更换的教程进行重新调试。
Vehicle head is the forward direction. Left caliper installs on the left wheel and right caliper installs on the right wheel. Please note! Don’t swing brake lever randomly before caliper installs on disc rotor. If swing brake lever randomly before caliper installs on disc rotor, the distance between brake pads will get smaller and smaller, which will cause that disc rotor cannot be installed in caliper. 在卡钳安装前，请确保刹车盘正确安装到位。接下来将制动卡钳装在卡钳安装支架上。将卡钳安装固定螺栓涂上螺纹厌氧胶，然后将固定螺栓安装在卡钳安装支架孔上面，然后用扳手将固定螺栓拧紧，这时候一定将固定螺栓紧固到位，否则容易松动。制动卡钳固定好后，请先检查一下制动盘能否自由转动，检查一下制动摇臂能否自由（正常）转动。
Before install caliper, please make sure that disc rotor has been installed correctly. Then install caliper onto caliper holder. Drop anaerobic adhesive on caliper holder tighten bolts, then install bolts into caliper holder bores and tighten bolts with wrench till it’s tight enough. Otherwise, bolts will get loosen easily. After caliper is fixed, please check if disc rotor can rotate freely and brake lever can swing normally.
接下来，我们讲解卡钳安装好后如何正确调试。我们用手扳动制动摇臂，此时切记，制动摇臂只能往箭头方向扳动，不可往后用力拉动。用手扳动摇臂的同时，我们的制动卡钳会自动跟进，使我们的刹车盘与刹车片之间的间隙变小。当手摇动摇臂的摆幅比较小，这时候手摇动跟进基本到位。我们用一根加力杆套在摇臂上，然后用力朝前扳动。采用加力杠杆扳动之后，我们的摇臂行程会进一步减小，这时候无论怎么用力向前拉动制动摇臂，都能够正常回位，这时候表示跟进正常到位。
Next, we will show you how to adjust calipers after installed. We can swing brake lever by hand. And please do note that brake lever can be swung in the arrow direction only, instead of pulling oppositely. When swing the brake lever, caliper can compensate automatically, which makes clearance between disc rotor and brake pads smaller. When brake lever range of oscillation gets small obviously, caliper adjustment is nearly finished. Then put a rod on the brake lever, and pull it in the arrow direction hard. In this way, it will reduce brake lever travel further. No matter how hard to pull brake lever, it can return correctly. It means auto compensation works.
接下来我们安装刹车拉杆。首先调节刹车拉杆前段的调节螺母。刹车拉杆调节好的标准是当摇臂处于自由状态时，既不朝前拉又不朝后拉的时候，刹车拉杆正对摇臂安装孔，这时候将刹车拉杆装入摇臂安装孔中，装好垫片，装好开口销。另外一边的卡钳安装重复之前的安装步骤即可。当左右卡钳安装好后，踩动制动踏板，检查刹车摇臂是否能够正常回位。最后装上轮胎，我们的制动卡钳就算安装调试完成。
Now we can install brake rods. Adjust the front adjusting nut of the brake rod. It’s done when brake lever in idle condition, it neither pulls forward nor backward and reaches brake lever installation hole. We can fix brake rod on brake lever with washer and pin. Repeat previous steps to install the other brake rod. Once both calipers are installed, stamp on brake pedal to check if brake levers can return normally. At last, put wheels back and caliper adjusting and installing has been done.
测试驾驶的时候，可能会出现左右轮胎制动力有一些不一样的情况，这种情况属于车辆制动踏板、左右拉杆、路面湿滑程度不一致的情况，属于正常现象。当左右轮胎制动力差距较大时，我们可以通过调节刹车拉杆适当调整。这时候调整的方法是：两边轮胎，哪一边制动力强，就把哪一边刹车拉杆松一下。这时候大家记住是哪一边制动力强，就松哪一边，而不是去紧制动力弱的一边。这个概念与鼓刹是相反的，大家切记！
When doing running test, it’s possible that brake torque of left and right wheels turns out to be different. It’s normal because vehicle brake pedal, left and right brake rods and road condition are different. If the brake torque differs largely, we can adjust brake rod properly. The way is to loose brake rod whichever side has stronger torque. Do remember it’s to loose brake rod whichever side has stronger torque, instead of the weak torque side. The principle differs from drum brake. Please note!
