@@thefiresworddragon927 That’s the thing, I would’ve used the retro lancer…if it sounded better. They made it somewhat better in Gears judgement. The Mauler sounds amazing, so I know they can do it.

They probably spent 2 seconds on it because they knew everyone would just not use it because Lancer is better.
The new gears of war games sound redesign is much needed thanks to new technology and higher fidelity

It's a 13 year old game at this point, can probably just find a mod fix for the sound.
Personally only really liked the funny lance charge back then.
