I’m a lifelong Minnesotan and Timberwolves fan, I didn’t like him waving to the crowd. To put it in perspective though I can only imagine what all they were saying when the Nuggets were up 20 and they did file a bogus assault charge against him the year before. Again, I didn’t like it, but I can see where it might have come from. Minny fans I know have much love for the Nuggets and respect what they’ve accomplished. What a game, watched the whole damn thing.. The refs tried so hard to give the game to the Nuggets but in the end, the Wolves pesevere and largely bcos of Reid in the 4th who managed to contain Jokic when Kat got his 5th foul. Once again, it was a defensive team effort that is becoming the identity of the Wolves.
Shoutout to Jokic who played the whole game except 1min but he was just too gassed in the end to make a huge enough impact tho as usual, he kept Nuggets in the game with free throws and some timely 3 pointers.
Ant even tho was not scoring much was actually huge in this game as he keep getting doubled and manage to find the open man quite often and also score on some huge baskets momentum wise. Rudy must have heard all the criticism on him and came out big in this game too so gotta him credit as well, for some big rebounds, hustle plays and a 10m footer which surely sank the hearts of the Denver players. But Reid is the main player that won this game as he managed to contain Jokic enough.
All in all, the best series we had so far and thats saying something cos the NY-Pacers and OKC-Mavs series were always highly interesting.
