Been waiting for this video! Daniel is the stock music licensing guru for sure and I have learned a lot from him. Pretty cool to hear that you guys follow Graham as well. I’ve never heard of someone telling someone else not to mention a library. Lol. But I have talked to composers who can’t share specific libraries due to NDAs or unique deals that are offered to top earners
For exclusive libraries, where you have a relationship you personally built with that library owner, I think you can choose to not just blab that on a UA-cam channel where everyone will flood them with good to bad stuff. I don’t want my channel interfering with the trust I have established there. But Pond5 or ArtList aren’t secrets. And neither are places like Crucial Music or ScoreKeepers Music.
@@MakeMusicIncome Yep. What I was saying is I've never heard of a composer (who doesn't own a library) telling another composer not to mention a library since it's their secret or top library. I know a lot of libraries (exclusive and non) that don't like to be mentioned. And some don't post their placements because they don't want other libraries to steal their composers/artists. 😳 Fun times!

I'm in some platforms and I already selled some tracks. According to your experiences when this type of work start to become continuous?
I think if you make enough music that people are searching for you will have success. It’s harder to just put anything up and hope to find sales.
Thank you for the reply! How many tracks do you post per week? I post 2 tracks every week but I have a lot of them ready on my computer. Cause I noticed that now that I have 300 tracks in some libraries I have more plays.
I post them as I finish them but probably about 50-100 per year.
