Try to make them with silicone, but not the one that is mixed in two parts if not the one that is applied with a gun.
On the internet there are tutorials that explain it and it is a very easy way to do them.
So you don't need to apply heat to remove the bubbles when using uv resins? I thought you were supposed to use heat to get rid of bubbles in the resin.
I think UV resin typically don’t get a lot of bubbles because you’re using small quantities.

You could use olive oil to put on the charms so they won't stick to the glue

If they are resin molds, do they also work for Wax? i think its the same as resin except u have to put a string inside
I think they would work. But I have never tried.
You should have tried the same experiment using 2-part resin. The UV lamp gets hotter than 2-part resin would.

I’ve learned with uv resin, you need to do layers. Then after one layer you need to add the next layer after uv trying the first layer.
Do you dry the resin first or do you put another layer of glue before you put it under a lamp?
@@meg2422 Hi Megan, so I normally make sure the first layer is completely dry after the UV light then I proceed to add however many additional layers it might need. Hope that helped!

Maybe try making a base and like tall border with the glue gun and let it dry completely. Then fill it with fresh glue and push the characters into the glue when it’s a tad bit cooled vs pouring the glue on top and expecting it to fill into the cracks

What is the paper you used below the gluegun?
I used some freezer paper.
Might make sense to not use an led light with glue gun molds, obviously it will melt and won't hold its shape. Maybe put a bit more effort in and just wait for the resin to set naturally...then the mold won't melt.

What u use for the dye in the resin
Alcohol ink and resin pigment.
Not to be negative, but when you made the apple hack mold there was a bubble in it so the resin was doomed from the start. Also when pouring any resin into a detailed mold its best to use a paint brush or stick and use that to put the resin into the detail before pouring it. Ive seen this work and its a cheaper alternative to silicone^_^
