I used to use a similar one all the time back during covid lockdowns by a diff content creator. Totally forgot about this. Dark mode is a nice touch. I saw ppl making fun off of this on your TT, but screw the haters. It's teaching your brain to give more accurate info instead of overly predictive info. Comes in handy when that sweaty wraith/octane is ras strafing on you in close quarters and you manage to stick the 99 one clip. As an older gamer you gotta use all the tools to combat slowing reflexes, which they do.
I'm currently recovering from a concussion and going through physical therapy for my vision issues, this video is the best thing I've found so far that I can use at home to recreate some of what they have me doing in PT. far better than any of the smooth pursuit eye exercises I've found that claim to be made for concussion treatment yet don't even bother uploading at 60fps. dark mode, too? seriously, thank you for making this
Thats crazy, my aim got 23% better on kovaaks just after warming up my eyes!! Thx big bro EDIT: Sike I lied, now I got 50% improvement, went from 45 percentile to the 80th percentile in 3 rounds after watching this warm up and crushed my PB from yesterday!
As someone who has a neurological condition that ruins their dexterity, and also has eyes that for whatever reason struggle like hell to quickly focus on anything even for a short period of time, i'd basically abandoned the idea of doing anything involving any degree of hand-eye coordination. While my former issue is basically just something I have to get used to, this video has actually already helped me make significant progress in combating the latter issue. In other words, this video has finally given me some hope that i might, eventually, be able to enjoy some of the more physical things in life that I wouldn't have been able to focus at all on (in both ways) normally. Thank you.
Thank you for this the dark mode was nice Would love to see some content from you when it comes to hand eye coordination or just info on how to better your hand motor skills
Last night, while doing my eye training, I had a thought about how awesome it would be to have a dark mode feature. And now, BAM! it's here! I appreciate the pheripile dot exercise, as I believe it's the best eye exercise. Keep up the great work, and I'm sure you'll reach a million followers in no time!
nice video, thank you for doing it :) i like exercises like the "Ball Tracking Exercise" and "Ball Target Switching Exercise" most because you cant know where they are and its like testin g reflexes :)
I idnt have any audio on as it helps me so i dont rlly know what u were saying lol. BUT especially the last few exercises helped a lot with focusing appreciate it.
I pretty much always do it as a peripheral test The zig zag lines I always try to follow but pretty much everything else to me is peripheral I've done them all the way up to 2000fps and can't find one that's made me fuck up at all
Am I crazy or did this video change its audio? In Peripheral Dot Exercise 1, he instructed us to focus on the crosshair until the ball turned green. But that did not happen.
I know this is a joke, but you can actually control your mouse and right/left click via your gaze and specific facial facial cues on MacOS. I tried it before, altho it’s kinda challenging but fun.
For the peripheral 1 do we just focus on the crosshair? and for peripheral 2 should i be focused on the center dot then would look at the outer dot when it appears then look back? or just the center dot?
Eine frage bei den ersten grünen punkten sehe ich leicht verschwommen sollte ich das dann nicht überspringen oder liegt es einfach daran das meine Augen nicht daran gewöhnt sind
I used Photoshop and Adobe After Effects to make it. There might be an easier way to make it, but I'm comfortable with those programs so that's what I used. I used Photoshop for the actual assets (the balls, lines, and shapes) And then I used After Effects to animate them. Theoretically, you could use just about any editing program to do what I did if you had the transparent assets, which are easy to make. Hope this helps!
Does anybody else sees the ball leaving a halo or vibrating when moving from point to point ? when it´s still I see only 1 ball, but when It moves I see it like vibrating, let me know lol, maybe it´s tive to visit the eye doctor.
What you're seeing is probably motion blur that I added on. If I don't add motion blur, even if the movement is smooth it's grating to the eye. The "vibrating" or "fuzz" as I like to call it, is normal. : )
Peripheral vision is good for target switching and overall flicking tracking may help with tracking targets, overall your eyes will feel focused and less tiring after long periods of gaming
@@ItzzAction I make a list of names before I make the video and continue expanding the list up until I upload the video. For the thumbnail I typically do it after the video is made. As for actual tips, I'm still learning as I go haha I do try to make them bright and colorful to catch the eye though

the one at 3:57 was so relaxing
i finally realized that osu is an eye training game which explains why my tracking feels so much better after playing
