As a father, this is the way. My toddlers hardly eat their food left alone. If I sit by them with my food they want what I’m eating. So I make them a plate off my plate. One of the biggest joys in life is to see a child eat and be happy.

I had issues eating when I was little. My parents put a ton of importance on not just eating but eating at the right speed, amount, posture, no noises, etc. which gave me and all of my siblings various issues with food. It turned a small issue that we should have grown out of into a lifelong struggle. As soon as my son started eating regular food, I noticed he had similar issues eating as I did, so I stopped making a plate for him and took him out of the high chair. Instead he sat in my lap as I ate from a large plate with extra utensils. Over a year later he is willing to have his own plate, but in new situations he still often waits until after I've started eating to dig in himself. And anytime he starts hesitating, I ask him to feed me some. The next bite he always puts in his mouth. Plus hes able to drink out of an open glass and use forks and spoons without a huge mess since he went right to adult dishes. Not bad for a 2 year old.
Thats some bad parenting as demonstrated for you, ofc you shouldnt eat as a pig but being this strict with how you eat food as your parent were will just build up an unnecessary anxiety from eating food.

My brother did this for me. I had a time in life i wouldnt eat due to a traumatic event. He came to the living room with a food we both loved and excused himself asking me to watch it. He came back to an empty plate and just smiled. It stuck with me to this day.

She was very depressed and had respiratory issues and an eye injury, and we quickly noticed the didn’t eat unless somebody was there. It’s important to feel safe and not forced. One step at a time!

This was a great moment in the movie. What made her thank you ao much better. Was the fact she never wanted him. She had to take a break and he was hired to help her for not only while she was gone but also when she came back. She wasn't happy. Even before this they were always fighting. She was frustrated that she made all these fancy meals and the kid would not touch even a bite. So he did this and it broke them both. I know what it's like to starve oneself. Has been really bad from bullying to an abusive father, to not having any friends and living most of my life lonely as possible with relationship partners that have used me betrayed me, cheated on me and I haven't really at any entertainment or joy in my life... The materialistic items that I had to keep me entertained wasn't enough I needed love. I starved myself because I didn't feel like I was worthy of feeding. I didn't feel worthy of being on this world... I know what it's like to go without, I know what it's like to starve oneself. It's a pain that's unlike any other. To feel alone is a horrible feeling

I think that beside the obvious cuteness of the scene, what makes it stand out is the fact that it's happening inside a restaurant's kitchen, which is usually a very harsh place
It's sad because the girl did lose her parents. Her aunt, the woman near the end, is a chef and was making her all these complex dishes that the girl didn’t want. The guy figured out that she probably just wanted something simple and made the pasta dish on a hunch if I remember correctly.
I remember one time during my eating disorder my mama would make me eat and just stare at me to make sure I ate. I’m glad I got help before my organs started failing (nutritionist told me that). No one should go through anything like this it breaks me heart completely 😞💔we need more support for eating disorders.

When bad things happend, some people think they should feel sorrow and be destoyed because of it. But does your loved one think so too? Life doesn't end, it's like a river, flows heart to heart until get to the ocean where we meet again. Whomever lost someone, I am really sorry but it's ok. You deserve happy day.
If they’re not ill, and not neurodivergent, and not upset, and … actually there’s many caveats on why a kid won’t eat, even if hungry. A kid with autism may not eat certain foods because of texture. The texture can be more uncomfortable than the hunger. Or a kid with allergies may be in more pain after eating. A sick kid may feel hangry and sick but may not eat cause their throat is sore or something. Some kids will starve themselves.
Thats not true. If you quitt eating for a longer time, you loose your feeling of hunger... so you have to find out the reason why the child doesn't eat
A child is still human. Remember when you're a child. See what he did. He helped her without anyone asking. That's pure kindness. Was pure, the girl heard it. Brought 2 forks, showing that if she wants it, she can eat it or not. Giving her the freedom. Showing her it is safe to eat by eating himself and going back to work. An honest and loving man.

My mom who was single at the time when I was at the age of 1-9 has this movie on dvd and other romance movies, this movie really captures the relationship between me and my stepdad. She's happy to have finally found a good husband and father for her daughter ❤

Both concepts do not take care of the underlying issue, pushes blame for said issue back onto the person and is a meaningless yada yada for the person saying it to feel better about themselves without them actually having to help.

You have to go through it, to understand it and when you understand it, you don't wish that upon anyone else, you have to love yourself.... Sometimes I forget that lesson to myself, and I fall back into that pit, but I pulled myself back out, even if I have to crawl and scratch at the surface just to reach it.

I think that beside the obvious cuteness of the scene, what makes it stand out is the fact that it's happening inside a restaurant's kitchen, which is usually a very harsh place
It's sad because the girl did lose her parents. Her aunt, the woman near the end, is a chef and was making her all these complex dishes that the girl didn’t want. The guy figured out that she probably just wanted something simple and made the pasta dish on a hunch if I remember correctly.

I remember one time during my eating disorder my mama would make me eat and just stare at me to make sure I ate. I’m glad I got help before my organs started failing (nutritionist told me that). No one should go through anything like this it breaks me heart completely 😞💔we need more support for eating disorders.

The way he did this was the right way he didint force her or show aggression he gave her the choice to eat and didint get mad when she was eating instead he said "save some for me" showing that he was allowing her to eat the food and she gave him a smile showing comfort and when he was eating he said "good" showing he liked the food encouraging her to eat without making it obvious

When the children are hungry enough, they will eat.
If they’re not ill, and not neurodivergent, and not upset, and … actually there’s many caveats on why a kid won’t eat, even if hungry. A kid with autism may not eat certain foods because of texture. The texture can be more uncomfortable than the hunger. Or a kid with allergies may be in more pain after eating. A sick kid may feel hangry and sick but may not eat cause their throat is sore or something. Some kids will starve themselves.

Thats not true. If you quitt eating for a longer time, you loose your feeling of hunger... so you have to find out the reason why the child doesn't eat

A child is still human. Remember when you're a child. See what he did. He helped her without anyone asking. That's pure kindness. Was pure, the girl heard it. Brought 2 forks, showing that if she wants it, she can eat it or not. Giving her the freedom. Showing her it is safe to eat by eating himself and going back to work. An honest and loving man.
