Never a day with nothing to do on the homestead. very satisfying to gather the BTUs for the colder months. Our property has a power company right of way also and never short on things to burn.
Check into setting up a multi pulley system for dislodging those trees. Pulleys are great force multipliers. Will greatly reduce the effort needed to get them to move .😊 ❤
Mike and Liz, it is great you harvest the trees from the easement with the power company. Snatch blocks sure make it a lot easier to pull out the logs. The chipper likes to gobble up those limbs so you don't have a mess on the road. Liz, your eyes sparkle when you smile as you look up at Mike when he is talking. Blessings to you great hard working folks.
Hey guys, I like to use chains more than webbing to sing logs. The chain can loop around a tow ball. I use chain hooks on each end. I agree with others comments about locating tha. At your usual storage site, that way the won’t get chipped up. Love these vlogs
What’s going on with excavator are you getting it repaired or are you doing the repair yours self. Always like the excavator videos Keep up the good work.

Great job Mike and Liz awesome team work👍🏽 really enjoy watching your channel 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Nice looking pile of logs! Y'all sure earned that wood! Looking forward to part 2.
Pretty cool...lots of trees...
Always the hard workers. Good to get it cleaned up and able to put the wood to use!
Good Job! Youth on your side, great workout and bonus firewood!!
That power line must be fairly new. Those are some mature trees.
What happened to the excavator? I did not know it was down, thinking it would be easier with the excavator.
I’m curious to what happened to the excavator. I didn’t see a video showing it was down
Love free lumber!!
Great video! Living the dream In God's country!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

That is a lot of hard work that you are doing, great work. You will be rewarded with many warm fires in the future.

You guys are amazing looking good
I always enjoy hanging out in the Idaho forest with you guys. Love your property.
What broke on the excavator?
Wow!! Those trees are soooo straight!!
That snatch block was the ticket, but am I missing something about the excavator? Love ya'll ❤
Nice work! You guys are fortunate to have the wood resource.
Hard work for the time you need firewood. Well done and don't stop filming it. We are waiting for part 2, haha.
John Deere, New Holland, TYM, Kioti one of you guys needs to team up with this channel and do a tractor demo!
That strip under the power lines will make great pasture land one day!
U both r so amazing ❤
Awesome job getting all that wood. I noticed you have quite a few thimbleberry bushes on the side of your road. Those are great for making jam.
I have been watching you since you were moving. Awesome video

Good team work. Would've got those tree logs out faster with a winch but it was done. Nice work and those logs are nice.
I'll be back in Idaho soon Elk hunting. You guys are going to need a good tractor or an old skidder.
Love the video, I enjoy this type of work. Awesome job 👍
Great job,enjoyed watching 😊😅💜
See you at mountain traders some time!
Great work 👍.
Careful, mulch is highly flame-able too. All it takes is one careless person walking thru with a cigarette on a hot dry day to cause a lot of damage.
I have the same truck except mine is a z71
Wait the Ex is down? What did I miss. Save the logs!! Nice job with snatch block. Good idea. Thanks for sharing
Thought you might use these trees for lumber. 😢
Block and tackle will work amazingly well for something like that. May not be so hard on your truck :-).
Sorry to hear the excavator is out of commission. If you're chipping the branches, do it for the driveway.

Keep up the good work.
Easement is different than Right Of Way. I won’t get into that because it’s all legal. But yes the trees are yours to do as you wish.
What’s wrong with the excavator?
can you use your excavator
it is a shame the excavator is down
Yes, too bad you don’t have on excavator or something lol. I’m sure you have your reasons.
🇳🇴👍👍
But no sunburt & blisters that would ruin the trip

Rbetter drag th🎉ose logs too the mill site to dry out the utility🎉🎉es company has been known to steal yourlumber
Why would you try to pull trees from the bottom and middle of the piles.....come-on Mike..
Need a new excavator?
